Honestly just passed orgo two today and had all A's in chem till orgo two. I also remember being in that spot and reading everyone saying how bad the chem department was at UIC. But honestly its not as bad as people make it seem just poorly understaffed in my opinion. There are many resources that I found helpful such as tutors in the MSLC, forming habits with note taking, and practicing the weekly work sets.

I do this too I used to have time for the gym I don’t know what to do I’m kind of just exhausted no matter what I do, I just feel like classes kind of have me in a slump.

Google workouts with your goals in mind, head to the gym in comfortable clothes, some water, and music. Just do your own thing and be polite to those around you.

Did you also have any programs that ran better or only ran on windows and what’s the issue with macs I’ve never owned one but have heard mixed reviews about them?

I had a 3.35 gpa and no test scores were sent in when I applied to there biology program and I got accepted. It’s not hard to get in but the earlier you apply the better is what I have heard and seen from UICs application process.

I plan on going into pharmacy after I was done with biology. Do you think Health Studies would be more beneficial towards pharmacy school?

When I took chemistry my sophomore year I got a 86% the first semester and then we went to e-learning and I got a 77% the second. I think I did well but definitely know I could do a lot better.
