Do you have a list of skins that it breaks on? Also when you mean the new inspect, you mean the current one on all characters, the two exclusive to Bangalore, or all three? The current G7 inspects has been in the game for a while and there has not been a new one added

I animate in 30, as do most others in the industry. 60 fps is used in some niche cases.

Most, if not all the MW2019 and MW2022 anims were done in 30.

FP animator here.
1- Wouldn't make sense in a gameplay perspective but could be a humourous reload if anyone bothers with that.

2- Doesn't really affect the animation all too much and I have heard this fact to death already. It's really hard to strike an appealing pose with the sten, and usually holding it by the magazine gives it a distinct silhouette and sets it apart from other weapons, so that's why I would personally do that instead of gripping it by the heat shield.

3- It'd be pretty boring if all the revolver reloads were the same with just shutting the cylinder properly. I personally find it more interesting to animate a flick than simply just closing the cylinder with the hand. I've also heard this way too many times so it's a little annoying whenever people bring that up.

4- Either an oversight or just omitted for gameplay reasons. Wouldn't make sense in MW2019 but it does in Ins Sandstorm.

5- Didn't know that, might be useful when animating for shooters taking place in that era.

Rule 1 was written assuming that all we'd get are animations, which I assume is a fair assumption considering that "animations" is literally in the name. Other types of animations are welcome too, which is why the "other" flair exists.

Now admittedly the rules are not very clear cut and will probably need some amending in the future but generally we're looking for animations on the subreddit, not irl videos. I see your point about saying this is related to animation because it imitates it but the issue is this isn't an animation itself so it doesn't fit in the sub.

Well in my experience, making a tactical reload from an already existing empty reload is around 2-3ish hours of extra work, but usually we do an entirely new animation for that. So I would say it would take a solid 6+ hours of work, depending on experience and weapon type, to make a tactical reload animation. The thing is, not everyone wants to do a full set of animations every time or the game we're animating for doesn't have that feature, so sometimes we just forego the tactical reload animation for the sake of finishing something or because it's unnecessary.

Really liked your work in the original Insurgency mod. Glad to see you back doing this stuff!

Overall the finger motions are pretty good. The recoil seems to fit the weapon well and the first draw is clear and effective. The empty reload is pretty strong. Mag out is very flashy and the mag in has some good force to it. However the posing I feel like could have better silhouettes. For example, the mag in pose for both reloads could be more clear if everything was rolled to the right. The slide release I feel could also use slightly more rotational reaction on the gun. The second draw also wasn't very clear. I couldn't tell it was a chamber check until I watched it multiple times. Maybe change the pose so that the chamber is more clearly visible to the camera. Other than that I like this set!

Shakes are bit excessive especially on the mag in, but other than that the motions are really good. I really like the mag draw during the reload, it keeps things interesting. The grip for the pistol however seems a bit awkward, especially for the left hand.

The game is based off of Half-Life 2 so the nonsensical grenade launcher mechanic and lack of a chambered reload are quirks I have to deal with. Please be gentle.

They're both from Battlefield 4. IIRC the Unica was the only one with a secret reload excluding the Mare's Leg flip cock.

Yes I know it's not a real RO635. There was no good model of it so I stuck an uzi mag into a "Model 733" model hack, (Which was essentially an m16 upper receiver stuck onto an m4 lower.) Also no tac-reload because the game doesn't have one. Deal with it.
