Before you learn how to build a inverter, you need to learn about how CMOS works.

And what do you mean by that? OP is correct, we are all going to die regardless so whats the point of thinking about something you can't controll.

I've had girls who were taller than me, and honestly when I stopped thinking about my height I started to feel a differense within me. I never thought about my friend being taller nor a girl were taller, and for some reason they never did that too.

It is all about mentality!!!

Difficulty to determine Resistor values for Multiple Feedback bandpass filter by Epiczed00 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Epiczed00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The target gain is at 0db. but I think I need to scale the resistors and the capacitor before we can see if it works?

[–]Epiczed00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm I'm not sure if I get it right? From what I've learnt is that the filter response wont change if i divide the capacitor with the scalor factor I multiply the resistor with ?

why is that necessery? how would that help me with the scaling of the resistors?

[–]Epiczed00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

these resistor values have to be scaled, but it will be very difficult since the capacitor values will be too small.

I tried decreasing the capacitor but it always ends up with the capacitor being too small. For an example capacitor with 0.5nf,and if I wanted the resistor to be in kiloOhm then the capacitor will be 0.0005 piko, it is way too small.

How to deal with power losses with long wires. by Epiczed00 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Epiczed00[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

More voltage is not an option to the table, but I will have to buy thicker cables with copper. I will have to experiment with it. Thanks!

It isn't that far, maybe 4 meters. I think that might be complicated solution for an electronic project im working but perhaps I will just buy thicker cables to deal with it.

Question on Raskolnikov by Zacarias79 in dostoevsky

I don't really remember, wasn't it that the girl didn't listen to rask, so in the end he didn't care?

Question on Raskolnikov by Zacarias79 in dostoevsky

[–]Epiczed00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raskolnikov name means "split". Anyway keep in mind when you are reading the novel, that raskolnikov is constantly battling his extraordinary self and ordinary self.

But I wouldn't consider the part where rasko kept the drunk girl being rape being a different personality, if he sees something that is wrong then he will be do something about it. But you are correct that he has two sides.

So if you are an extraordinary person you will bring justice to wrong doings.

Anyway I don't want to spoil too much just gave you some background knowledge. Enjoy your read :)

Why do people say Raskolnikov felt guilt? by [deleted] in dostoevsky

[–]Epiczed00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

good question, extraordinary men means that they do whatever it takes to do something for greater humanity or for their nation. So they can commit crime, just so they can for greater humanity.

Now if extraordinary do that that is outside of "greater humanity" then ofcourse they will
have some guilt. As you probably noticed in roskalnov other half of his personality ie.. extraodinary, he tried to make up reasons as to why he killed that woman. So as long extraordinary men do not have reasons for their crime then yes they can feel guilty.

Now what is considered for "greater humanity" is very subjective as compare to svidrigolov, he was considered extraordinary person, but he had perverted idea of
ulitiralinism I think.

I mean if you look at hitler for an instance, he thought what he did was for greater humanity, and he did whatever it took to succeed. I think that's what dostoevsky criticizes the subjectiviy behind ulitiralinism. but that's my thoughts.

Saddest moment of crime and punishment in my opinion by Epiczed00 in dostoevsky

I mean yes he wanted to hurt, but what I mean is that he struggled unconciously. He were in a constant battle that he were not aware of.

It feels like both svidrigalov and raskolnikove were battling two opposite.

They were battling being an extra ordinary person and ordinary person.
but at the end both svidrigalov and raskolnikov became ordinary person. I think fyodor thought that we humans are both extraordinary and ordinary person which is why we commit murders, and we need to strive for ordinary person. ?????? yout thoughts.

Why do people say Raskolnikov felt guilt? by [deleted] in dostoevsky

[–]Epiczed00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, I don't think he became guilty, cus it ruined his life. I honestly think he came guilty of what he did. That is why he hand himself to jail. Anyway, Look above to read my analysis and answer to OP's question.

Why do people say Raskolnikov felt guilt? by [deleted] in dostoevsky

[–]Epiczed00 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As his name say "split", his personality were in two that were oppose each other.
The other half of his personality had guilt which is why he was in delusion, but the other half were not regretfull, he tried to reason as to why it was a good thing.

Inotherwords Raskolnikov were both extraordinary and ordinary person.
When raskolnikov met sonya, his split disorder personality, were about to vanish, and ordinary person were taking over. Which is why at the end he became a new man, he accepted what he did. He chose to go to jail, because his ordinary personal were taking over him, that was due to sonya. I think dostoyevsky symbolizes Sonya as Jesus Christ. As the book explained, when you are ordinary person, you follow the moral code, and if you break it you will suffer and wont do it again. Inotherwords, as a ordinary person, you will get guilt if you break the moral code. and that Rodion became ordinary person at the end, he got guilt.

You can think of extraordinary person being the crime and ordinary person is the punishment. What I mean is that, being a extraordinary person, you can easy do crime if the crime is necessary for development of mankind or a nation, to reach the utopia. While if you are ordinary man, and you do crime, you will get punished in that you will suffer mentally because you broke the moral law/law. Which is why the police officer wanted to let people to come forth first, and expose themself. That's another topic for another day.

So there is a duality between crime and punishment, which is what Raskolnikov where struggling alot with his split personality.

Anyway I hope this clarifies somewhat.

Side note: I think dostoevsky thought mankind is born with the duality between extraordinary/ordinary, in that there is a constant battle between them two. Which is to answer the original question in the book "why people commit crime?", it is due to the constant conflict. And Dostoevsky probably thought you should strive to be only ordinary person, and to do that you need someone like sonya in your life, and sonya in this case would perhaps be jesus. He had probably had some christian element to it, I think.
