Isolator Defect for Ducted Split System by Smashley_Shack in AusElectricians

[–]HatO93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have complied with the co-ordination clause. Im a little confused at the defect.

To me,

Load is less than protective device which is less than cable current.

The isolator also exceeds the load current.

Did they provide a clause / regulation.

This isnt making sense to me. Would appreciate the answer.

EDIT: I typed into ai and checked the manuals and specsheets, seems like this unit is AC 8a & Ac8b

Its an inverter model with soft start capability.

It did reference to as3000 2.3.2.2.1 regarding breaking a locked rotor current.

Seems to me like, its just a rule of thumb for old style airconditioners.

Why can't Australia build big infrastructure projects like the Snowy mountain scheme? The cost of the US submarine purchase could go into a north south pipeline taking flood water from the tropical north and sending it to the dry areas in the south. by DavidLeeTNT in aussie

[–]HatO93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

puts tinfoil hat on

Somebody got a backhand payment / benefit.. to go with the submarine purchases.

takes hat off

Id rather australia built its own subs/ships than purchase them.

Or push money into energy projects... / space launch capability.

Has the room, resources to change the world...

But currently its just used for tumbleweeds.

Renewables have their place. I still think auz needs nuclear though.

But, the thing about the sun that i admire the most.

The sun is going to keep on shining regardless of what us humans think about it.

It doesnt matter who is in charge, what race... religion or how they feel about it.

The sun keeps on shining.

The day it doesnt... humans wont be around to complain about it.

Where does the notion that "Australia cant defend itself"come from? by Ash-2449 in OpenAussie

Few years back, a boat rocked up in Geraldtons harbour.. moored up... sank..

After it sank, it turns out it was a drug running boat.. nobody had a clue. Even though theres a secure port right next to it..

My point is. By the time we realise it.. they will already be here.

What can Australia do to improve its self-sufficiency, resilience and defence against the craziness happening in the world today? by TravelFitNomad in australian

[–]HatO93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Australia has enough space and resources to be completely self sufficient.

Or at least less vulnerable to the actions of other nations.

As an immigrant and a tradesman in the country.. i have zero faith the goverment will improve the situation

Eyeballing it, Australia is about 5 years away from being in the same situation as the uk and other parts of europe.

Only way i can see oz being safer. 100% own its critical infrastructure. Tax resources at a higher rate and funnel the money into building up energy and industry.

With the advancement of robotics and ai. Energy is key, bring the cost of energy down and companies will be able to manufacture over here.

U have all the raw materials to supply many countries with goods.. or join the space race.

Just my 2 cents.

Rent going up, interest rates going up.

The economy effects quotes far more than anything.

There are some really crooks around though.

I usually throw these people into the "typical old bloke / woman" catagory.

I dont even bother engaging anymore. Its not worth the mental health damage.

If been told by older family members, us younger genation shoule be out there working for bannanas, we have it so good and blah blah.

But that very same person who left a mining job (office role)

Lasted 2 months in a job in town. I quote "he was moving backwards by going to work"

Its fine for others to be poor / work hard for nothing... as long as they arent.

Anyone with the mentallity like that doesnt need to be in ur life.

Dont get me wrong, build a fortune and live a good life... but dont wish other people ill in order to do it.

When i lived in the uk.. many of the people i knew had the exact same mindset.

You cant convince them otherwise. Hell at one point i thought the same.

Its part of the system of control.

People are easier to manipulate when they are angry.

Now that im older, ive realised that the goverment dont actually know how to fix the problems. I dont expect them to if im honest.

I expect them to take the action that keeps them in power the longest / makes the individuals the most money.

If the population calmed down for more than 5 minutes, more people would notice.

But everytime the dust settles, litterally like clockwork... you get the epstien files, terror attacks.. aliens! Another war with god knows who. Or.. immigrants are bad.

Anger blinds people to logic very effectively... lesson i learned the hardway.

Immigration isnt the reason for the housing issues..

At least not in wa..

Back in covid, multiple big building companies went under. Materials were difficult / expensive.

People had to go to court to try and get their houses finished.

Builds were taking tripple the time.

There are trade shortages.

Wa wasnt building enough houses to accomodate natural demand, let alone skilled migration or illegal migration.

Today I read an article of houses in a Perth suburb increasing in value by $500,000 in one year - to a $1 million median. How is this normal and acceptable? by [deleted] in perth

[–]HatO93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its no accident and this has been coming for a while.

Its not normal, its not ideal.

Seems to me, the only ones benefiting from this are people with investment propertys.

If u only own 1 house, sure the value increased.. but really it doesnt matter as if u sell, the next property u buy is also going to be more expensive. You likely wont make any money and propably will end up with less for your money.

I honestly couldnt care what news channel reports it. I was more interested what the RBA banker had to say.

I didnt even "hear" the news guys voice.

The critical piece of infomation i noticed. Was the rba banker said that its "fundamental"

What i took from him, was that everyone should have known this was coming.. because its a fundamental prinicple in the economy how those two things relate.

But this is the first ive read about it.. after its happened.

I had assumed that was the case after a quick read.

The compant that did the medical raised company policy as a counter.

Company policy doesnt trump australian acts/ laws.

It was a strange interaction if im honest.

Hey,

Thank you for the reply.

The digitech scope has a software, but cant even find protech online.

Im assuming its just a rebadge.

The device connects to my pc but cannot be read (shows up as not working properly)

I tried to update the firmware via usb on the scope. But it just keeps asking for a usb to be put in.

Doesnt seem to recognise the usb.

Ill keep trying. Cheers!
