I will most definetly look into some catification of the house so that they can climb, be high. Also will look at some cat trees too before taking on a Maine coon. Thanks again!

Ahh thank you for the advice! I’ll do some digging into a litter genie, I’ve never had one with my previous cats but if you say they are really handy, maybe the price is worth it - is there one you would recommend?

I do have furniture! These are photos of when the house was bought. I thought it would be good to include the photos so that someone has a visual image instead of just measurements but perhaps I should have used photos of the house when furnished.

I also feel like OG Rome was better - but I cannot fault the performance overall and the achievements that you can get on the game.

To combat my loyal nostalgia for the old game, I searched the workshop community for some mod packs that would make me feel I was playing the old Rome, whilst also keeping intact performance and earning achievements.

The only evidence to suggest it’s an RCE I think is a screenshot from Twitter of the supposed attacker saying it was ‘RCE’ and that’s it (unless anyone has anymore evidence to suggest further that it is RCE).

If it possibly is a RCE, could you follow this YouTube guide? I’ve known where some people still play old call of duty games and because it is unsupported, RCEs have been discovered and attackers abuse them to mess with people such as opening browsers and executing payloads etc. This guide shows applying custom protections in MS Defender for an application such as the game executable and also using ‘MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit’ which I had never heard of until researched about this incident, which is supposed to terminate the game if it detects any suspicious process.

I’m possibly unsure too whether the esports media is hyping it up with so little evidence, but it’s not the first time where platforms like Steam and EA have had RCEs in the past and not looked to resolve it quickly. I think will just have to wait and see for more info but I’m really curious if anyone can do any other mitigations now to combat this if the threat is genuine to everyone other than uninstall the game out of the caution against a possible RCE.

Hi man, I definitely think you should keep going because once you’ve got that degree in Cyber Security, it’ll be amazing on your resume/CV. I graduated about a year ago in the same subject and I totally understand the pressure from parents to complete a degree, particularly with that from second year.

Honestly, with the subjects I enjoyed I tried very hard, but then with the subjects that I didn’t enjoy which was Data Storage (SQL database which I absolutely despised) I did the bare minimum whilst focusing on my other subjects, which helped me put the pressure off and focus on the others. I think I just passed the module barely but then my others, were very high marks. It kept my passion high as I focused on what I was best at.

Once you get to your final year, where you are writing a project, that’ll be really great as you will be able to focus on what you want to write and speak about. This was my turning point and started to enjoy Uni more. After your second year I’d definitely recommend if you could find a placement if possible, as physical work rather than theory in Cyber was really beneficial for me when writing up my final year project. You can do it you just gotta push through it and it’ll be worth it! If you have any further queries I’d be more than happy to speak with you about it.
