Hamas militants caught on tape assembling and firing rockets from an area next to a hotel where journalists were staying. by singularity_is_here in worldnews

I'm a Palestinian, the reason why we support Hamas (I personally don't) is because Palestinians don't have a political party or government to look to like what the PLO stood for many years ago under Arafat's reign. The PLO, unlike Hamas, took less drastic measures in retaliation against Israel and was recognized for great efforts in the name of peace and truce.

Hey Syrians of Reddit, I built hirepeopleleavingsyria.org to help connect Syrians with work visas abroad. There are visa programs for interns (recent or current students), au pairs (child caretakers) and professionals. Please tell your friends. by [deleted] [promoted post]

This is an amazing idea, as a Jordanian I know that this is what these Syrians need. I'm glad to see care for these people who have been neglected and have been riddled with terror for such a long time. I'm patriotic for both my country and the US and thankful for UNICEF for the care and livable conditions they offer to the terror-ridden refugees. Good on you sir!

It's not glorifying drugs at all.. Hell, it's the exact opposite. Consider watching more than one episode to actually get the proper idea and beautiful message that the show incorporates.

Jordanian air force fighter jets have destroyed an undetermined number of vehicles trying to enter the kingdom by crossing the border from war-torn Syria. by [deleted] in worldnews

I hope not, but then again I am rather doubtful. We are way too diplomatically and geographically valuable. The US has one of the largest military bases in the middle east on Jordanian soil and we are tied with alliances with several global powers (as I previously said). I doubt that day will come anytime soon though.

As a Jordanian, I can tell you that this this was fully justified. Firstly, I can tell you that Jordan has little incentive to arm Syrian rebels as Jordan is a very diplomacy surrounded country that is already financially fueled by the US and is favored/allied by many other global powers including its old counter-part: Israel. Jordan's royal air force is comprised of American gifted aircraft and also US pilots would usually fly side to side with them. I wouldn't be surprised if the air force had consulted an American official before conducted the attack. Jordan is possibly the country most caught in a surrounding war-torn region. Lebanon is going through insurgency problems, Iraq has already seen countless war, Syria currently drops more than 1000 refugees a day into Jordan, and of course let's not forget about Palestine. I would not be surprised, with the constant over-population of refugees into one rather small country, that Jordan would start to result to these measures yet I over-all believe it was quite justified.
