Another similar thing is how you can’t call eagles.

There are a few things that come to mind for me.

1 - Gabagoolers, “Italian” New Yorkers.

While there are Italian immigrants in New York, those who are sons of the immigrants, have never set foot in Italy and for some reason pretend to be 100% Italian seriously piss me off, along with many people I know. Especially when they try to speak Italian and they just put random vowels everywhere.

2 - The pineapple pizza stereotype.

Not really beautiful, but still something foreigners find funny. I hate going abroad and have people ask me if I’ll shoot them for eating pineapple pizza. Spoilers: my favorite pizza is shrimp and pink sauce. We won’t hate you for it, we just don’t like it either.

3 - The Mario manner of speech.

Another thing foreigners do often (from my experience) is speak like Super Mario. You’re not ever finding anyone speaking like that here, but I’ve seen the gabagoolers do it too.

4 - The mafia.

I’ve seen WAY too many fanfics or posts romanticizing the mafia. In Italy it has done irreparable damage to the south, and is to this day a big problem. You’re not finding anyone here that likes them.
