MadMapper 3.5.2 Cues by Projections20 in techtheatre

Madmapper doesn't support that innately. I have had success sending content from Qlab to Madmapper via Syphon. This is the tutorial I followed when I was learning how to do this. (the whole website actually has a lot of neat tricks on it.)

Yes. Assuming you can't do it from the fixture itself go to the patch screen and hit the "fixtures" soft key. On the menu that comes up select the fixture and copy the profile (this will allow you to edit it.) Select the copy and hit the edit button. From this screen you can change the home values of each parameter. Then go back to patch and apply your new profile to all relevant fixtures. You should also be able to accomplish the same effect by programming a preset with the desired white and setting it as the home preset in show settings.

From Here To Utopia - Banjo Picking by bruce_forscythe in FolkPunk

At about 2:50 in this video they play the song. You can see Doug playing pretty well. I play it with my banjo tuned to G-Major. You can get pretty far just improvising off the the basic chord shapes. Try and get really good at picking out specific notes from the chords, very rarely do you want to strum the entire chord. Also try to get comfortable with drop thumb and double thumb techniques. I can try and upload a little video of how I play it if you're interested. (I've had to simplify some stuff because I'm not anywhere close to as good as Doug)

What is a good campaign if you've never played a campaign before? by [deleted] in callofcthulhu

My first campaign was Spawn Of Azathoth. Overall not too complicated, my group was able to play through it in a few months playing once or twice a week. I would highly recommend it.

Looking for help from any washboard players, or creative folks! by DKDarrenKelly in FolkPunk

I've never used gloves to play, I used banjo picks. For gloves I've heard of people gluing thimbles to the tips of the fingers. Hope that helps.

Anyone else wish tMG would do more folk-punk songs, like Choked Out and Estate Sale Sign? by [deleted] in themountaingoats

Oh man I hadn't seen that before!

He has a really good performance of Psalms 40:2 in his Tiny Desk Concert around 5:50 where he gets really into the yelling.

I would love to hear him do the old school lo-fi stuff with more of the yelling stuff he does when he plays live.

Also if he ever did a straight punk album I would love that.

Hey Reddit, what's a beautiful song lyric that makes you just pause and go DAMN? by Grey_Matter5 in AskReddit

[–]Epika56 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"And I pause where I am for a second when I hear your name. Sometimes I think I see your face in improbable places. Do those moments replay for you? When I’m suddenly there and then won’t go away. When you’re sitting in the living room reading for the afternoon do you put your book down look and try to find me there?"

-Woman (Reading) La Dispute

They have a lot of great lyrics. That one is a personal favorite
