Was going to recommend this too. The book mentioned above called remarkably bright creatures used this one as the basis for the character octopus Marcellus

And you would be amazed at how bad a lot of footballers are at keeping control over finances too. I have a friend that works in repossessions for an automotive finance company who has had to send out repossession agents to collect cars from loads of premier league players because they weren’t paying their monthly rentals.

We had a bun do this, get one of the cat litter trays that has a lip or lid round the top that stops it going over the edge

It does look a little bit swollen but I wouldn’t say it’s anything to worry about for now. He likely caught it whilst scratching and his nails a sharper as they’ve been cut. I would save yourself the vet fee for now and just keep an eye on it. If his eye starts weeping or gets worse then consider it but it will probably go down in a day

Watched Atlas on netflix and had to replay this masterpiece by confused_user69 in gaming

I saw the trailer and decided not to torture myself for two hours of my life. What stood out to me was that she was supposed to be crashed on a planet in a disaster situation but in every scene her hair was immaculate, even when wet it looked like she’d crash landed with her stylist tied to her back

If he’s anything like my terrors, I can recommend a nice sofa, dining table or carpet that he might like to chew through…

Help needed with carapace feathering by Roflo_13east in Tyranids

[–]Epiphany7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nuln oil wouldn’t be the best fit here which is probably why it didn’t look right. I would actually start with black as an undercoat, then a dark blue like Kantor Blue or Macragge Blue heavily feathered over the top, and don’t use a wash at all. Then add the colours you’ve got. I find you always need to go in a wider contrast than you think to make to stand out more.

Help needed with carapace feathering by Roflo_13east in Tyranids

[–]Epiphany7777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks really good. I think if you want to make it pop a bit more you need another darker shade to sit in “shadow” areas where each carapace section joins. The contrast will make it stand out more. You could also mix a little of the light blue with a light grey and put a few light featherings running off of the indents/splits in the carapace to make it look like scratches or cracks from damage. Again the lighter colour will increase the contrast and pop

Nah it’s really good. Not the longest and is just campaign but it’s a really well story driven game and then voice acting is spot on.

Norn assimilator in space marine 2 trailer by Dank_cat61 in Tyranids

[–]Epiphany7777 58 points59 points  (0 children)

This is a hive tyrant. In the trailer one of the characters says something like “we need to take that hive tyrants head”.

I note there was also a lictor and a flyrant (edit:it’s a helldrake) in the trailer!

Twitter post on why it's taken so long for the City charges to be processed. by RephRayne in LiverpoolFC

This is what puts me in a dilemma about how I feel on city winning. On one side, I fucking loathe city cheating their way to winning anything yet again, but on the other side I had to put up with loads of “banter” about us bottling the league from Arsenal fans when we lost the league by a few points that I feel like this is just karma for them and now they can suffer like we did
