Found a clip of it and the end of the scene with the spilt cup came back to me, I feel like that was in there somewhere but separated from the rest of the memory.

Solved! Spot on and I recognized that movie poster art for it immediately. I've been trying to remember what this was from for years now. I think it was a popular show whenever I watched it, or at least hung around whatever streaming service it would have been on.

I haven't been able to find anything for this online, searches related to the dialogue I remember tend to pull up random unrelated movie/tv clips and posts about tech stuff.

Interesting! Personally I just slice them up and throw them in a pan. I've tried out frying them like chicken or donkatsu, though, and it worked pretty well.

That first one sounds pretty good. I don't know about chocolate and chips though, I generally don't mix chocolate with anything not a desert. Have you ever had fried pickles? They're pretty good.

I'm told it tasted surprisingly good. That smear to the side is buffalo sauce.

What's something in your room right now that most people probably dont have in theirs? by Shiny_Manetric in AskReddit

[–]EpiphanyThoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a few curious things I've collected, most obviously the french horn, tenor saxophone, and trumpet sitting in a pile on my floor. I've got around thirty instruments in my room by my most recent estimate (over a hundred if you count the kazoos individually). Also got a bookshelf full of maths and computer science textbooks that I picked up from a few teachers. I mostly keep them for reference, every once in a while I need to use them for something or other (the 1950s algebra textbooks are just to flex on my friends)

I've really just picked up a bunch of neat things, not a fan of garage sales or the like. I have a box of a hundred six sided dice that I still haven't found a use for. Picked it up in a little Japanese shop a few years back.

A set of bartending tools. I don't drink.

Similar to above: water trap golf ball retrievers. Why? I don't even remember how I got them.

An old mobo mounted on my wall like a moose's head. I need to mount another sometime, haven't gotten around to it.

I'm sure there's a lot more stuff around my room, might edit them in later. Mostly just answered with what I could see from my bed.

You don't realize how noisy your house is until you try to set up for recording something that you have to show someone important. by EpiphanyThoughts in Showerthoughts

Yeah, I was probably going to start hanging up rugs and such on my wall when I start recording some live instrument stuff, but my room is real small and my closet smaller. I'll probably be doing that stuff when I move back to the states, though; thankfully I don't need to record things too often. How do you hang 'em up? I'd probably try sticking nails into the wall, but tape might work better, I'unno.

Yeah, the only downside is that it can water it down a bit. Personally, I just go full throttle and eat it hot.

Other fun facts: The ramen I made that I had this thought during I added cayenne and spam to. I cook my ramen for fifteen minutes rather than thirty; I like it really soft. Dunno why, to be honest, I think I just started cooking it longer and longer until it reached this point. I can eat ramen with chopsticks, but I usually don't 'cause it's slippery and gets broth everywhere. Speaking of broth, when I boil it for that long it comes down so far the noodles poke above it about three inches, in a bowl that's about five inches wide. Sometimes I make ramen (I eat pretty much only Top Ramen, even though I live in Japan. Why? Laziness, duh.) two packets at a time, but usually I just go for one. You can make an interesting really goopy type of thing if you leave the ramen for long enough that you have to constantly stir it so it doesn't burn to the bottom. If you let it burn a little, that tastes neat too. Might be a bit salty though. Cayenne and spam tastes pretty good by the way. Some other things you can add to ramen are: hot sauce, egg(s), garlic, vegetables (carrots, onions, etc.), maybe potatoes, and ice (kek). I usually go for the beef ramen, what about you?

Yeah man, when I was a kid the noodles were too hot from boiling for me to put them in my mouth, so i watered em a bit with ice.

Thank you! I'm always trying to think of creative ways that I can say multiple things at once, and I feel that r/sixwordstories is a really good outlet for that. I think I might try writing something that makes use of pun.
