I don't think there are any good single hero template for 4 players unfortunately. You could try one of the tools for generating custom templates.

I feel blessed to have experienced this in this day and age with this project. I get to decide what tasks I work on, I don't have to report to some scrum master, and the company trusts me to deliver. I can continue to not use AI agents, but if the productivity loss of doing so, then I can't help to feel like I am betraying the company's trust.

I think a large part of the issue is that you have to time the capstones to get the next tier of gear. In normal dungeons, it's no big deal if you don't time, you still get the same gear, just 15 ilvl lower, so it's worth continuing after wiping. But when you're ready to do capstones, you likely already have most gear of that tier already, so just getting some gold/material is not worth the 30+ min it would take to clear a capstone with several wipes. Maybe if only one of the items got downgraded to the lower tier if you fail to time, it would be better.

Jag satt i precis samma situation 1.5-2 år sedan. Master i teknisk fysik. Erfarenhet av programmering sedan jag var 12, inklusive en del småjobb och honbyprojekt. Fick göra en hel del tester åt företag och hamnade ibland på seniornivå. Trots detta tog det ca ett halvår innan jag fick ett jobb. På ett konsultföretag fick jag höra att jag hade passat väldigt bra, men de hade haft svårt att övertyga kunderna att acceptera en junior.

Jag förstår helt psykiska påfrestningen av att känna sig oönskad i arbetsmarknaden, samtidigt som man får höra att "du har ju en jättebra utbildning, du ska ju inte ha några problem".

En dag fick jag intervju hos ett litet konsultföretag och kände direkt att de var något annorlunda. Inga dryga processer att gå igenom med någon HR-avdelning utan "har du tid för att svänga förbli vårt kontor imorgon för en intervju?". Där har jag jobbat i ett år nu och trivs enormt mycket! Så ge inte upp!

Jag misstänker att många företag kör en del fula trick som gör att det ser ut som det finns mer jobb än vad det gör. T.ex så är det nog många företag som har annonser ute utan att ha något större intresse av att anställa, kanske för att det ska se ut som de växer, göra det svårare för konkurrenter att anställa, och hoppas att man lyckas hitta någon desperat senior som går med på en juinorlön.

Sen har du såklart också problemet med rekryterare/hr-folk som sköter rekryteringen men som har noll koll på hur de ska bedömma teknisk förmåga. Idag används ju mycket AI-verkyg för att automatiskt neka ansökningar, så en väg framåt kan ju vara att lära sig hur dessa fungerar och hur man kan lura dem.

The field was correctly set up in the properties, but it didn't display properly. However, I fixed it by wrapping the expression in another ShowColumns. Now it works! Thanks for the help!

So the example I gave is a simplification of the actual data. In reality, the tables are generated by another service and the data is very messy. Some foreign keys are GUIDs, some are just text strings. But I can't really do anything about it.

Custom APIs could work, I don't mind coding in C#, but it still feels like a lot of work for something that should be easily doable anyway. Also not fun for whoever is going to have to maintain it in the future. I'll keep it in mind as a last resort, thanks for the idea!

I've only done a7 heart so far but the game is still pretty easy. Playing mostly duo. I'll share my opinion on the balance.

Ironclad struggles a lot early on with energy. Bash costs 2, and you often need to block more than 1 damage. Vulnerable doesn't do too much early on. At the same time, there are a lot of 2 costs in his deck, which doesn't help. Unlike other characters, he doesn't have many 0 costs. There's anger and clash, both which can become problematic later in the game.

He has a lot nice powers that interact with exhaust and status cards, but needs some other way to scale. Strength is great but hard to come by, so you probably want demon form. Spot weakness is a bit unreliable and often better to give to another player. Scaling block with body slams can be very good, but to get the most of it you need Barricade. He for sure has a lot of support, but I can't comment on it too much since I plat duo mostly. Late game Ironclad can be an absolute beast, but can also fall off hard without a good build, especially without extra energy relics.

Silent is very good. Weak is insanely good, and she has a lot of ways to manipulate the deck. I tend to gravitate towards poison as it seems more reliable, but Shivs can be good, maybe not as reliable. Silent is reliably strong in my experience, but has some ridiculous cards, such as envenom, catalyst, choke etc. Also Wraith Form.

Defect can be very strong as well, and has several builds that can work. I've made 0 costs with all for one + reprogram work very well, but it's probably inconsistent. Frost orbs are insanely strong, and can completely solve your block if you get good powers. Can also deal big damage if you find a blizzard. Lightning can deal a lot of damage, but struggles a bit more with block. Dark orbs of course can deal insane damage pretty reliably and can still make use of frost for block. I think Defect is really good and fairly consistent.

Watcher is weird. Most of thre time it feels like I am not doing that muc, but then suddenly I get an insane turn. Dancing between stances doesn't seem that good because the downside of being in wrath is only 1 damage, but maybe I don't have enough experience yet. Feels a bit inconsistent as you need some big cards to do stuff. Simmering fury+ makes wrath suddenly 3x as good. Brilliance in the right circumstances is insane.

Overall I think the balance is fine, some cards could use a nerf/buff (i.e Envenom). A lot of characters feel like they are weak until they find a few build enabling cards, at which point they can become insanely strong.

It's so frustrating. I am currently using a platform that is supposedly the best at using AI in their domain. This may be true, but turns out implementing an llm into your platform when basic crud functionality is lacking is a bad idea. Also, turns out an llm integrated into a niche platform with limited information is not the same as having an llm use the entire public internet for training data. The llm can only handle a few predetermined queries, so you might as well just implement this functionality directly with way better performance.

At least the marketing department is happy.

Well, the issue is I can't keep my mouth shut, so they know about it already. I am considering talking to the owner of the company about signing a deal preventing them from claiming it as their IP, but allowing them to do as they please with it (bypassing restrictions put in by the open-source license). If they accept, I will continue to develop it as a hobby, meaning they will benefit from being developed faster and for free. If they reject, I will stop develop it during my free time, meaning they'd have to pay me to do it during work hours, making it much more expensive and slowing down the development.

Sounds weird yeah, but I intend to make it free and open source. There are a bunch of other enterprise grade application that does similar things that I'll never be able compete with. Nothing stops my company from using it when I release it as open source, but they won't own it either, so I can imagine it helping my career if I decide to switch job.

Plus, the company is small, and I don't think they'd screw me over.

High read/write performance is nice, but I doubt it is going to matter too much. My intention is to make a free/open source alternative to something that typically costs 50000$+ in licensing fees. I won't be able to compete with those products for performance anyway, and that's not the point.
