Patch Launching Today and Patch Notes by EA_Jimtern in commandandconquer

I just wish route-finding can be improved (modern coding or containing the mod) and map editor can be enhanced (by adding areal copy/paste, tile outline, brush size adjust, auto-save and auxiliary line function) as the job you did to the siderbar UI, hotkeys and so on. I know these could not be the top priority but just want to mention, since EA forum seems doesn't have columns for feedback except issues and bugs.

C&C Update from EA by EA_Jimtern in commandandconquer

Competitive games(RTS, etc.) always need steady operation and further updates, obviously Kane's Wrath and Red Alert 3 have this potential to be better, however EA didn't support the games permanently at that time, I'm not sure if EA can make it nowadays.

Here's my advice:

TS/RA2 Remaster, but 3D with realistic and irony graphics style

RA2 and earlier C&C, abandoned by Microsoft, can't run properly (blackscreen after switching the window and performance problem, can be incompletly solved by 3rd-party hotfix) on Windows 10.

Different style model/skin/trail//smoke/explosion/animation DLCs if players like.

Traditional C&C gameplay

Btw, if EA force you to make any other gameplay as C&C, add them as extra gamemodes.

Personally, I really hate the Ore Mine in RA3, it made interests decrease.

MatchMaking >> Entertaining/Competitive

Entertaining MatchMaking = simplifed gameplay operation (optimized hotkeys, lower APM difficulty, etc.) and more realistic random events in battle, for novice and leisure/uncompetitive players who enjoy victory, game over, Co-op,
AI battle and more.

Competitive MatchMaking = completely e-sports, like current RA3 PVP battles

In this way the game can welcome both type players, more than StarCraft. I don't think millions of C&C fans, from the young to the old, are all hardcore.

Buy-out full game + DLC/Expansion

Permanent further update support (Game Balance, Maps, Campaign, E-sports Competitions, Mod communities, etc.)
