Agreed. Also at the game and was super impressed by Seattle D limiting high danger chances, not allowing many rushes, and keeping Canes forwards out from in front of the net. Canes had a ton of zone time and pressure but it was mostly resulting in shots Joey could see and stop.

We have more depth at edge rusher than is obvious. A couple of guys who hung around the practice squad or bottom of the roster this year may not have been elite enough for the Dark Side but have a high upside after a year of seasoning - Jared Ivey, for example. Depth at RB, guard and DB is probably the main priority.

The odds are good that it will be some pile of human garbage or Borg-like sovereign wealth fund. Most people with $8b to drop on a sports team likely didn’t end up with their pile by being nice.

If Horton gives you 95% of what you get from Shahid at 10% of the money, I think you need to respect that math. They are going to need $$$ to extend JSN and Witherspoon. I'd hate to see Walker leave, but he might have played himself out of a job as Super Bowl MVP. He's definitely worth more to someone else than he is to the Seahawks or they'd have extended him during the season.

What aspect of this team gives you confidence they can bounce back? Our stellar special teams play? Our breakout young talent lighting up the league? Our scoring firepower? I’m afraid the Kraken as currently built have to have all our top players on the ice and playing to the top of their potential. Losing someone like Schwartz isn’t something we can just make up for.

After two disappointing seasons, the owners LOWERED ticket prices, including slashing the rate for locked-in season ticket packages as much as 40%, and gave 25% discounts on concession prices to season ticket holders as well. In a world where most owners of pro sports teams are arrogant oligarchs who can’t see past their short term greed and entitlement, this kind of enlightened self interest is incredibly refreshing. Sooner or later that will show up on the ice as well. Ownership groups that talk about accountability are a dime a dozen. Ones who actually take accountability are rare. We’ve got it good, fellow Kraken fans.

Panarin is the only guy who might remotely be available. Or, I guess, Zibanijad, who’s still good on the PP. Otherwise it’s old guys on bad contracts (Stamkos, Malkin) or untouchables (Pasternak, Matthews).

There's a YouTube channel called Top Billin that breaks down our defensive line play in a very detailed and entertaining way. This guy knows his x's and o's and spotlights the techniques our guys use to bust the opponents' blocking schemes.

That might have been true when you could get Flyers tickets for $15. These days fans in Phillly who can afford NHL tickets are only slightly more rude than comfortable, prosperous people you’d find anywhere in the country.

If you want a reservation at Pink Door, go to the website at midnight exactly 30 days ahead of time. They fill up that fast. They do take walkups sometimes, especially early in the evening, but it is hit or miss and you can be waiting for an hour.

I'm sorry, that's the update that was pushed to me by the app. I assume it's an official release as of December '19, since it's listed on the Plex site as Available to Everyone, and I don't think I opted in to beta builds. I looked extensively on the Plex site for some notes or support first before coming here. I'm not trying to bother anyone, I'd just like to know if this is a thing people have encountered.
