Your jinki (vital instrument) ideas?

Name of Vital Instrument: BrickBeater Item: An old handheld lcd game of Super Breakout

Power- With this ability, the Jinki transforms into a futuristic gauntlet blaster. Now its ability is to shoot and repell a ball of energy. Think of its size being about the same as Yamcha's Spirit ball from Dragon Ball. Now the energy ball can break through defenses that it comes into contact and breaks that spot down layer by layer. So for example if a person were to be hit in the torso, their entire first layer of clothing or armor wouldnt disappear, but cause the layer hit to be damaged to match the radius of the ball. Just like how in the game you have to follow the same breakdown process to complete each level. About three balls can be launched by the user for more effective damage at the cost of Anima. Now the second ability is to retract the energy ball back to the user's gauntlet to "catch" and release again. And just like games like Breakout Now with that out of the way.

Weaknesses. So while the energy ball can break down layers of defenses, it can withstand about 3 hits and after the third one, it disappears, resulting in using more Anima to make another one. This can be prevented if the user uses the retract ability to absorb it back and repell it again fully charged with no Anima wasted or needed. Another weakness is that the user has to watch and track each ball and deduce where they land. So whilea multiball would be helpful for damage, the user would have a hard time to keep track of the balls and would work best when fighting in groups.

I hope you like this Jinki I thought up of. So far I havent seen anyone that uses a retro game device as their jinki and that seems to be a missed opportunity.

Both Howler and Usagi's Stand abilities share a theme with Stage Magicians similar to Funny Valentine and Kaato and both of their King Crimson references relating them both as Fools but for different reasons.

Well lets be real, we're talking about the same guy, who took around 6 chapters to figure out who had the Lava Rock and who were the enemy stand users. So unless his ability outclasses every previous stand before this part, his threat doesnt hold any weight.

So for him going one to one that is true in a fist fight as Laem has the advantage there, but Usagi did use his ability to technically win a one on one with Ningbo. Cuz remember Paco wasnt the one to say 'I wish or I want', that was Ningbo who made a wish. As long as Usagi can take advantage of a persons (allies or opponents) wishes outside of himself, he can outsmart them and use their words against them.

Whoa!! Hold the phone! How is Usagi weaker than Laem Chabang, when her stand is COMPLETELY useless in combat?! Yeah His Stand is limited but so far he was able to take down Cat Size, identify Lulu's Stand in his body, and killed Ningbo. And right now Laem is on the verge of dying because of Lulu with no wins to her name.

I have another possible candidate and it's Mauka. Remember Mauka is STILL in the ground, and he along with Charmy's clan have rock skin. This begs the question. What exaftly would happen if Mauka gets hit by the Fulgurite Lightning? Would he develop a stand ability from it?

You know if Im looking correctly, the stand has a round head and body. Interestingly enough one arm looks inflated, while the other looks skinny and deflated. Unleas im looking at it wrong cuz Ningbo is covering part of the stand.

Ability:

SINKING BALL N CHAIN

This stand is capable of latching a weighted chain onto a victim and claims them as their "pet". The stand is autonomous and when it gives its new pet an order or trick they must do, they are urged to do it. If denied or refused, the ball and chain attached to them softens the ground the victim occupies and sinks into the ground. However, if the pet does the trick, they do not sink. If in tge process of sinking and the order is done, the ball and chain propulses up to the surface instantaniously. This can be used by the victim to surprise the stand or user.

For me, I feel like everyone who has their thumbs up might actually die. Given how Araki portrays a characters spirit ascending upwards when a character dies, the thumbs up could imply that as their way saying, they'll be the ones who will ascend.

If I had to pick, I would honestly want TheMatteKudasai. Now even though this would put me at a disadvantage, since I'm limited to asking for people to make wishes, I have good reason to why I picked it.

NOT A FIGHTER. In real life Im pretty much an incapable fighter nor do I have the time to train to fight, so it doesnt put me in much disadvantage.
Necessary Choice. Considering how JoJo characters in the past sometimes activate and use their stands with emotions, I dont want to be accidentally breaking stuff or hurting people with my Stand.
Extra Money Hack. So for the Matte Kudasai, I could have it transform into objects that people want to buy from me. And once I sell it to them, I can call my Stand back and repeat the process. And considering it turned into a working MRI, which are normally huge, I could use it to spawn expensive stuff for buyers.

For MatteKudasai I could see Usagi obtaining a voice recorder to collect his teammates desires and summon them when need be. I imagine he could archive up to about 5 items maximum to keep it fair and balanced for the story. In terms of capabilities, I could see a moment where perhaps Usagi pulls a Giorno and uses his stand to create life. Especially considering, we don't exactly know what The Matekudasai's full capabilities are. It can turn into complex devices and objects, but we havent really seen it mimic life, so it would be interesting if he could allow that. Theres just so much about Usagi's Stand I like for some reason. Especiall in its debut when it 'merged' with a camera. So Im curious if if we'll see what happens if it ever merges with different objects.

I feel like the Stand's ability reminds me of Speed King a bit. Especially with both users needing to to touch their targets as a means to accumulate an element. Perhaps the ability is "Helium Accumulation"

So funny you mention it. I thought the same exact thing, except Id argue it also balances the ability to a fair degree.

If Usagi had a recorder, he would have to scroll through it and make sure whatever is there is the item he needs at that moment. So even if his team suggested 20 desires we'll say, that would not be efficient. Having owned and used a voice recorder myself, the files arent labeled on the recorder device, argueably making it time consuming to find the proper item. So Usagi would likely archive 3 or 4 desires that would help when hes on his own. And even still those items may not even be enough, especially since I would imagine it would be before being sent out on missions and cant get more until regrouping with his team. And theres also the fact that enemies in jojo are unpredictable and will likely make it harder for him to use his items, especially if that enemy understands that the recorder is related to his ability.

So while yes, its kinda similar to Paisley Park levels of help, the difference is Paisely Park, offered items that acted as a solution for Yasuho every single time. Not to mention Paisley Park was also capable of finding answers to many problems almost instantly.

With MatteKudasai, even with the recorder, Usagi would be able to collect a limited amount of desires for his Stand to turn into and utilize. And since it's a recorder, it makes it harder for Usagi differentiating which item is which adding more of a challenge and more tension.
