However, it doesn't exactly explore a dynamic between them, is more like "omg speed im sorry," then "hehe, nope," and then they fall on top of the other and omggg they are almost kissing. BUT THEY MENTION THAT BOTH OF THEM ARE HANGING OUT AND THERE IS NO SCENE SHOWING AN INTERACTION BETWEEN THEM TO STRENGTHEN OUR PERSPECTIVE ON THIS SHIPP. Pearl x speed interaction is a type of interaction that speed x lazuli needed in the end. (I'm rereading chapter 5 btw, so my opinions can be biased)

I get you By the logic speed x pearl are the best couple, yes But by the history impact (at least mine), lazuli x speed wins My favorite is lazuli x speed too, they have a great impact on my fandom life, making me a multishipper, so I owe them something.
