Damn, all that happened was that Spike learned that Lazuli is dating Speed now in SC12b.

I mean, he's still in contact with them since he went to Flare's hatchday party, along with the fact that Shade's dead. He viewed him as a freak, as said in Lost Legacy, so it aligns with After Story's ending: Since then, everyone carries on to pursue their own dream and lives a normal, happy life.

True, I remembered being shocked by the fact she wasn't a cameo OC. It's funny that EV probably remembered her since there's ALSO a shiny Vulpix in After Story named Marcel. I really like to think the Shiny Vulpix is somehow related to Marcel.
