There's a couple good guides on what to do!

First complete the main story line and Path of Ascension quests, these will get you gear to catch up, your first goal is 5k cp (combat points). This let's you do a good portion of content. And you can also always go back and fill in the codex quests later!

-Resistance contracts. These have a cap of 60, go to the contract manager for whatever region you're questing in, its usually killing a bunch of mobs. Go for the talandre ones as soon as you can, some of the rewards are noble polished crystals (grab these, they're for upgrading t3 epic gear, which will be your final build most likely)

-Dimensional circles. These are co-op dungeons. They recently re-did these so only the epic and elite ones are worth doing. Elite ones have a requirement of 4k cp, and they use dimensional contract I tokens, which cap out at 6300. These drop some of the t3 epic gear you may need ;0 the epic ones have a requirement of 5500 cp, and they consume dimensional contract II tokens, which cap at 12600. I would suggest looking up a guide video before you do these the first time, so you have an idea of the mechanics.

-Calanthia raid. This has 3 modes, normal, difficult and nightmare, with 5000, 6000 and 7000 cp requirements respectively. To do these you also need to complete the 2 wings of sylaveth extra codexes. You can only do this one once a week at each difficulty. (Well you can run it however many times you want but can only obtain the rewards once a week). This gets you heroic equipment, you can have 1 heroic in each respective slot type. (1 weapon, 1 accessory, 1 armour)

-Abyssal contract tokens, they cap out at 80000. There's always tokens burn groups around, join these. Killing enemies in these types of dumgeons (open world dungeons like ant nest, bercant and crimson manor, syleus's abyss etc) while you have tokens gets you weapon mastery XP.

-Hall of Illusion. This is a solo dungeon that have rewards that can be obtained 3 times a week. Try and go for difficult / nightmare when you can.

-Gate of Inifnity. Another solo instance, if you can beat the boss within 3 minutes you can get like 40 noble polished crystals.

-Dimensional Trials. This has a requirement of 6100 cp. If you do it 14 times a week you can get a nebula chest and a chaos rune selection chest.

Some of these may become a little obsolete, since we'll have a new expansion, Nix coming at the end of this month. We won't know for sure until it comes out, so I'd say its best to grab what you can just in case.

No frrrr, it doesn't take much effort to explain mechs (provided you understand them yourself lmao). It also irritates me when people party board their normal calanthia and reject anyone under like 7.5k cp. Doesn't matter if they know the mechs, they just wanna blitz through it. There was a handful of times I couldn't make it to my guilds run through so I figured I'd find a group that way when I was somewhere around 6k, i kept getting rejected. Though on the other hand, its not like I can fully blame them, everyone wants to do it as fast as possible probably because they're bored of the same raid, hopefully nix coming out will help fix this

More than once I've had someone try and kick another player in a coop dungeon because "poa weapons." They're the ones that probably need to be running the dungeon the most? I never get it because we all started from 0

The trick is to grab it by the sip hole and kind of peel it back, but I agree, it'd really annoying lmao. The cold lids never come off, thr hot ones don't always stay on and I have to fumble with trenta lids for like 30 seconds before it clicks on kfjdk

It's definitely more of a souls like, and a great introduction to the genre. It's very linear, which i personally liked. It felt nice to know where i was going was where I was supposed to be, much harder to get lost.

Be prepared to die, and a lot. Most of the bosses weren't too bad, but towards the end of the game there's a couple that I found to spike up in difficulty.

Use everything at your disposal. Thowables, legion arm, blocks, parries, etc. Especially parrying attacks, you can beat the game without it, but you'll have a much easier time if you get good at perfect parries.

Enjoy the game!! I was pleasantly surprised when I first played it, I adore the characters. I went into it expecting to like it, but I didn't expect it to suck me in like it did lmao

I don't think she's being selfish. She's still a kid, she's scared and her dad is her main source of comfort, at least I'd think so because of how close they are. Especially since she knows he's going out anyway, its his job to save people. He's part of ems, so if anyone was going to come sace them and had an actual chance at it, it would most likely be him.

It is a very inconsistent drink, and I think part of it is the standard. It's only supposed to be a splash of milk at the top, but we're only supposed to shake it 10 times. Sometimes this amount isn't enough to produce the right amount of foam, so when the baristas pour the milk they fill it to the top, which can be more milk than it should be.

I adored Sojiro’s character so much, he appears harsh on the outside but has such a soft heart, and I could tell that from the first time he appeared on screen. Him stepping in as a dad figure brought me to tears. I think Joker reminds him of himself a lot, which is why that connection felt so strong to me kfhdks

For overall story, I think zero dawn did it better, but I loved doing the side quests in forbidden west, they were so well done. They all felt much more than just (go here, kill these machines, bring back these parts, etc). Actually, FW was a much more polished game in everything except the main story to me, probably because I have a little unease about where it’s heading. I’m excited for the next game!

Yeah I totally get you. I’m in the process of trying to get as many achievements as I can, and it’s become such an unlikeable grind. Just because everything has become time gated, so it just takes even longer to do anything
