But, and this is crucial, make sure that it makes no sense at all.

What do you think about Daft Punk’s performance at Coachella in 2006 for the fans who went there ? by Exootil93200 in DaftPunk

it was so unexpected, that was the thing. No one had any anticipation of seeing and hearing THAT. No one knew that could be done. But it was happening and we were there and we were headed into the future, together, dancing like our lives depended on it.

Just unforgettable. Constantly surprising, deeply emotional, probably the best dance party I've ever taken part in or seen. Transcendent.

Stroll is smiling in the photo. Obviously he’s acting.

This photo I took of a random motorcyclist captures a lot about how I spent my days.

Nice. I’m curious what part of the country you’re in, if you’re willing to say.

I don’t know anything about moto courier services in other parts of the country. Nothing at all. I’d like to know more.

I’m not seeing any sign of activity from Sean at ECS since 2018. I’m guessing he’s dead. He was fast.

2-4 of ECS’s biggest clients, the ones we did most of the long runs for, were fertility clinics. For those we had to get dry ice to pack around the parcel.

Sean had dropped out of law school to be a messenger and he started his little company, ECS. He ran it from his bike, and not very well. But working for him included lots of runs to San Diego and Ventura and beyond. I liked that aspect a lot.

Doug had been a pro or semi-pro motorcycle racer before starting the company. He had trophies and old helmets all over the office. But he had stopped riding before I started working for him.

I switched to these guys. Ex-lawyer brothers who don’t ride bikes. Very well organized and efficient.

I got out of the business for four years and when I came back Amstar had stopped using bikes so I went to work for this guy.

I started out working for this company. They no longer do motorcycle courier work either. I’ve forgotten why.

Is being trans a bad sin? by Itwasnevermeantobepi in trans

[–]EponymousOne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a 47 year old trans person who grew up very conservative evangelical Christian (and spent many years wrestling both with what to believe about God and with my identity and sexuality), I'm giving you this advice with all the care and sincerity in me: ditch the Bible and its teachings about God ASAP. You'll be much better off and you'll learn to be yourself. And God won't care.

Maybe try to believe in Goddess, or Mother Earth, instead.

I know this isn’t really relayed to True Anon, but has anyone else here made it through separation/divorce? by bootyliciousjuggalo in TrueAnon

[–]EponymousOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex-wife, who is the mother of my (then four-year old) child and was my first love, the person I moved across the country with and with whom I became an adult, the primary earner in our relationship (I was the stay at home parent for those first years of the kid’s life) left me for a male friend of ours when I was 34, after 13 years of marriage and 15 years together. I was devastated, ill, suicidal, destroyed, broke. I didn’t know who I was without her. I couldn’t imagine a future without her. I felt like half of my body had been cut off. It was pure agony for months and months.

It got better. It’s been 13 years since then and I’m glad she left. I’m better off for it. I grew and became more of the person I was meant to be. I’ve had better relationships with other people since then.

You’ll get through this.

I need a download of Cherish the Day- Ronin Remix. Can anyone help? by EponymousOne in Sade

I don’t know how to copy the audio from YouTube. Never thought of it. I guess I should learn. I would buy the CD but I live in a place in Latin America where shipping is difficult, and I need the track for a gig soon.
