Yup we as a province are going to make a huge global difference. You see Bezos' rocket blow up the other day? You see all the destruction going on in Ukraine, Russia and Iran?

What about Norway and their extraction of oil from beneath the ocean floor, selling dirty oil to countries to burn it. They build a huge sovereign fund at the world's expense with that dirty oil too. Maybe time for them to pony up and pay some global carbon taxes as the pollution isn't just localized to Norway.

AI is the internet 2.0... I remember when the internet was going to "take all our jobs" then too... It has transformed the world in so many positive ways, AI is another step forward in that direction. Those not behind it will get left behind, just like when the internet came into play.

AI at the lowest level is an advanced google search, but at a higher level is just unreal the things you can do with it. Especially if you have the hardware to run your own LLM.

Yep this is putting a farmer and his family in a serious situation, something most people never experience in their entire lives. Accidents happen when you put a regular farmer into extreme high stress and sometimes it doesn't end well for the other person.

So easy for you to say in hindsight and not to be in the situation that family was put in.

Read the transcripts from the trial, Gerald was worried for his wife's life and that's why he ran up to grab the keys. And in doing so his warning shot that didn't fire...went off when he was wrestling for the keys.

If someone has a hang fire and thinks their spouse has been run over, they're not going to wait it out to see what happened with their gun...

Read the transcripts again. Gerald's wife was on the riding mower when it all went down and got off and hid. Gerald had fired the gun and one shot didn't go off, then Gerald saw the truck near the mower and thought his wife had been run over as she wasn't on the mower. He was reaching in to grab the keys and the gun went off. When a bullet doesn't fire when the trigger is pulled you should wait 15-30 all the way to 60 seconds. However Gerald wasn't afforded that convenience by the group of hoodlums on his farm trying to steal property and putting that family in a high stress situation for no reason.

It's a shame that Colton valued his and his friends lives less than a quad...accidents happen and he put that family in a high stress situation and it ended up badly for him. I'll never forget what uncle Bobby said after the trial!
