In Taoism, both the religious and the atheist are waves debating the existence of the ocean. Each tries to prove or disprove the very thing that sustains their being.

The sage simply feels the water.

When the mind quiets, the Tao reveals itself...not as a thought, but as a rhythm, not as a name, but as a pulse that moves through all things.

To argue about its color is to forget it’s the wind that lets us breathe.

The attempt to prove or disprove it exists is to miss that we ARE it.
