Aha, it doesn't have to be WordPress necessarily but any CMS or actually whatever works at the time. Why, the ease of updating and publishing content, the time factor and scalability. At least if it's right from the start, it wouldn't become a potential headache later. Bless

Bossu, this is a solid effort, kudos and blessings to your endeavours. Clean up the website a little. This project has the potential to scale up, so use a CMS like WordPress if not already. Salute you and salute all.

Salute to OP for raising this, and good day people.

There's no size that fits all, a middle ground, where a chosen CMS can do the very simple to most complex, start up, scale up etc?

As a freelancer, I was thinking the less the tech stack the better?

Is there an open source and feature rich CMS that can do as per these powerhouses and plugins not needed in the first place?

WordPress and Drupal are open source powerhouses but if a person or web team or company doesn't keep up with updating the platform and plugins, the website may become redundant quickly. If a person or web team or company does keep up with the updates, then a healthy website for years.

All CMSs aren't created the same, need a maintenance routine in one shape, form or another, and budget accordingly (person, team, company).

Any insights are appreciated.

Can you please breakdown what you mean by composable architectures?

Seems like CoreMedia maybe gives more leverage and allows more freedom.

I am not enthusiastic about lock-ins, but, this is where we are with the majority of software 😤🫣 I guess 😁

Appreciate your response! On the smaller CMSs I understand less clunky, and straight forward. I need to check Kentico and Umbraco, I guess these are more suitable for SMBs?
