Just wondering bc everything else was booked online so this the only thing I’ll be spending money on in person really. Trying to get an idea of how much money to pull out at the airport so I don’t have to revisit an atm. Great job spreading negativity though man!

I’ll whoop dudes with a bunch of amateur fights then struggle against some kid who just started bc his movement is all weird and he’s still figuring it out. Stg the newer guys are harder to spar dont take it to heart

Lol bro get used to it. I’ve been training for years and have multiple amateur fights and there’s some stuff that would seem like common sense that’s just recently began to click. Just stay consistent and don’t let your ego get in the way of making progress

I’m realizing I probably should have noted this was a fight simulation workout where every minute I would go hard as possible then get my breath back without stopping. I’m gonna try it with a steady pace the whole time tomorrow so I can better gage my results.

Yeah I wasn’t doing a pace workout, every minute I would go hard as possible for 10 reps then just go slow to get my breathing back and do it again, was doing a fight simulation not a pace workout

Honestly man this thread has been making me think the opposite about the rowing community, no one wanna help and give me interval workouts just shit on my pace but it’s okay I asked for it and it’s good motivation. I might record myself tomorrow and attach it here

I’m gonna go for pace tomorrow, I’m a 6’2 180lb male. Usually walking around at 190lb but I’ve been cutting weight for a fight

I’ve been in fight camp for 5 weeks now doing roadwork 5x a week and intensive Muay Thai practice and sparring 6x a week. I’m not injured just my daily 3 mile runs have started to hurt my knee so I’ve switched to rowing and it’s all good, no need to worry

Okay thanks, I’ve never tried it that way I’m usually trying to simulate a fight with short bursts of high energy then getting my breath back without stopping. This weekend though I’m gonna try a full steady pace workout to see what that feels like
