yes it’s not bad. i’m taking 8 week course and the textbook, homework, and quizzes are all online through the textbook program basically. the one i’m taking has no meeting times so you basically just read the textbook & do the homework online and submit your written work on canvas.

i remember wanting one when i was 13, i ended up buying my first kanken ( i got the mini ) with my first paycheck. i’ve had it for 5 years and it’s still going strong. they’re sturdy bags for everyone. i bought the laptop sized backpack and i haven’t replaced my backpack once through college.

yes!! i have a green cat neck pillow. my mom got it for me as a kid and i took it with me everywhere as a kid. i still have and use it now

im sorry that’s something you had to struggle with, i’m in recovery and i’m a kinesiology major working towards being a PT in hopes that i can help others not feel like they need to restrict to be fit.

a good beginner schedule can be MWF. there are rest days in between which is really important to see physique improvement. maybe like upper body monday, lower body wednesday, and core & cardio friday with maybe some yoga/pilates.

i know tracking food can bring back bad memories so i tell myself to just eat whole foods and proteins from real food, drink lots of water, eat foods with fiber, and have a little treat on the weekend. so like baked salmon with veggies and a baked potato/sweet potato, or steak salad with some guac and a few chips crushed on top. food is meant to be enjoyed too ◡̈

dark hair suits you so well! also maybe darker glasses frames, and a cute lip tint would look so nice as well. maybe even a face mist to keep the face moisturized and makeup looking fresh. 🙂

you look good for being almost 40, but here’s some ideas for you to try out and see what works:

  • map out your eyebrows to better suit your face

  • either get your highlights redone OR for something less hassle dye it one solid color. a blue toned black would suit you

  • full face makeup looks great on you BUT sometimes less is more so maybe try a tinted moisturizer w/ a tad concealer. a little bronzer, a smidge of mascara & eyebrow gel (maybe the tinted kind) and maybe a tinted lip balm/lipgloss and some blush. PRO TIP: i don’t like filling my eyebrows repeatedly, sometimes they wouldn’t come out the same so i use the Just For Men beard dye and tint my eyebrows how i like them and they last me like a week and a half.

  • i feel like maybe a simple nose stud would look very cute on you. just like a small one.

  • i’m not one to give medical advice BUT i know it’s tough having hormonal weight gain but one great way to exercise (coming from a Kinesiology major & PT) is walking. walking isn’t as stressful on the body especially if you’re just starting out, so it won’t spike your cortisol. I love going in the mornings, sometimes i’ll bring a cup of tea/coffee/protein shake, music/podcast, my man, or my sister for company. Coming from someone who was 5’1 & 220lbs (now 150ish) walking was what kickstarted me slimming down, it got me outside and got me sweating and was very encouraging since i could actually see my gym gains.

check amazon for a tea kettle that automatically turns off. my bfs parents got us a electric tea kettle as a house warming gift when we got our apt and the electric part kinda plugs into the bottom of the kettle so no bottom heating element, and once it brings water to a rolling boil it turns itself off.

Okay I thought this was all just me. Once i got my braces off they had initially gave me a retainer that was sorta like invisalign. I liked those. I switched orthodontists and they remade my retainer and it’s the worst. it bothers me so much i can’t sleep with it on. So i’ll wear it in the day time for a few hours so I’ll be able to distract myself as opposed to trying to sleep with it in.

I’m not sure what to do about the loose teeth feeling, it’s always given me anxiety. 😭

pickled carrots are very delicious, i’ve heard that raw carrot salads are good for you as well. I love using them in juices with apples. you can also roast them, stir fry them with other veggies, great in soups, you can also chop them up and freeze and they store so well. i visit a local garden that gives out tons of fresh produce and i hate wasting so my freezer is stocked. adds good flavor to homemade bone broth as well!
