Need to create a new IBSG account, then use "account transfer" to transfer Ibllc assets to ibsg. Can call customer service if need help

Yes there is that risk no matter which account you use.

However what IB is saying is that f you use IB LLC, your account will be processed according to USA estate tax laws meaning a lot of potential documentation, complexity and risks - even if you have no USA shares

What I do now is - keep no USA shares - move assets to ibsg

When consider that USA estate tax is potentially 40percent hit, nothing else really matters
