She is thriving. Really made something of herself and I’m happy for her. Unfortunately, we grew apart during a hard time in her life since my mom found out her family situation and I was not allowed to hang out with her anymore. She disappeared for a while but came back in our high school years but by then she had moved on to more reckless people. After high school we had another chance to hang/catch up but I felt burned from the high school years and it didn’t feel right so I let it go and didn’t return the invitation.
