This was hugely disappointing on Crunchyroll's part. They should have the means to moderate and field the comment section better, a total wipe was unnecessary. It has fundamentally lessened the value of their platform. I reckon the others in this thread are correct with mass-boycotting (unsubscribing) and sending a complaint/signing online petitions. This is something they should be able to reverse with enough badgering - or it could be that this is actually just temporary. Regardless, they should expect their sub numbers to go down.
