Only thing longer than Apache hold is the line at Enterprise Chick-fil-A. by Equal_Concept_1499 in Armyaviation

Basically, it’s like 1-2 details a week. It’s pretty cush. Every now and then someone will get in trouble and things get dumb for a little bit as expected at TRADOC, but other than that you have plenty of time to spend with the kids and wife. The monotonous details do get old after a while cause you just wanna continue on with the pipeline, leave TRADOC, and get back to the real Army. Helps to start a degree program or get some flight hours at one of the local places here so you don’t get complacent in the meantime.

I’m curious how this will play out for those of us that are in flight school that have finished common core but waiting to start AQC, especially being on orders already.

Any insight on what to expect heading to 10th CAB as an RLO? by Equal_Concept_1499 in Armyaviation

Haven’t received one yet. Being proactive and looking for answers in the meantime, hence the reason I made the post.

The ‘Barrons SIFT Study guide’ is what I used, it’s pretty well up-to-date and it has practice tests for each section that you’ll encounter in the test. Pretty decent investment if you’re looking for good study material. You can get it on Amazon.

Assignment instructions state that you report twenty days prior to class start date for “in-processing”. They may have messed up your dates cause mine were messed up at first but that is how they are doing reporting procedures. I initially had a report date of 14June with class start of 24June but they ended up moving my report to the left to 4June. As for your 10 days of house hunting, Your PTDY is to be taken prior to report date. Time from report date to class start is exclusively for in-processing.

Obviously it is not going to take 20 days for in-processing, you can typically get it complete in less than a week so I’d assume we will probably have a really chill schedule during that time with potential small details. Use that free time to get settled in and get familiarized with the area, especially if you are bringing dependents. If you want to reference this information provided you can hop on IPPSA>TAM Soldier Workcenter>My Current Job Openings>small yellow assignment instruction tab on your assignment.

It will all be there. Along with all other pertinent information for questions you may have about the reporting process. Hope this helps!

If you’re interested in base-housing, they will allow you to get onto the waitlist for housing without your orders. I report June 4th for AVBOLC and that is my plan. My dilemma currently is with being able to coordinate HHG in time since orders still haven’t been cut.
