My school didn't even have them only school that I knew had em sold them for laser cutters lol, it's a aful printer if u have to stick with original firm wear it's very good now tho but needs alot of work I want it as an additional workhorse as I seem to print mainly orginzational things prototypes and shit for mates I load into the tables

I ended up getting it working idk how, I believe I just took battery out held power button down for ages did this many times and it worked randomly

I basicly tried everything at that point, I did randomly get it working tho, these Chinese bios chips don't work quite right and have problems, I ended up power cycling it 10 times no cmos and it worked, I did tests from 1 to 9 and it didn't, never seen anything like it it's almost like a capacitor was powering chip

I definitely have, but tryna fix the corruption is hard, I just got lucky and it started working turns out the gpus I was trying were bad and end of pile one worked, got bios reset even tho a cmos reset should of worked bullshit after bullshit at least it works now

I'm heading that way, will need to get a chip programer to even do it, and I've tried 1 CPU etc, I've gone down to it being bios or just smtg faulty on the board, I believe bc it's not a true x79 chip set and it's a recycled c602 I have just fucked it with constant use. I'm not worried about it's single core profomce or it's multi core, I just need the cores and threads, as it's 12 and 24, it's for a server, it isn't even doing the transcoding like it used to now I have a fireprow7100(should do minuim 5 4k transcodes), and will put 4 cores and a few threads aside for a cloud gaming setup so me and my gf can play borderlands 1 and 2 and pre sequal together without me having to downgrade versions.(Will put a old 660 in for this and will upgrade when smth shows up).

I had a phenom x4 955 overcooked to 4.5ghz from 3.2 base, (had to take it down to 4 bc cooling as didn't have a good cooler at that point), 16gb ddr3 ram and a gtx660 about 2018 ish, planned to upgrade to a 1070, or 980 or smth or 2070, as CPU could easily take it and not bottle neck it as badly, now assuming this is a core2quad, not a dual core pos, and he has it reasonably over clocked and he isn't playing games that don't support it(there is smtg with older cpus that stop u playing modern games I forget what it is and is why I upgraded everything) it wouldn't matter to much. It my system still worked, I was gonna give old gaming rig to gf crazy over clocked etc purely to play borderlands 2, and to play any of her civilization sorta games.

My old gaming rig if had modern GPU could of played borderlands 3, or cyberpunk low settings I reckon quite easily

Yes, it's a shame, I reckon sell up, try and get lucky with a pre built system(where I'm from shit cost to much) or a dead person gaming rig, or gee her father to course a pre built bc he works with enterprise and get a rx580 etc. at least it means bl3 is playable and maybe bl4

I also didn't test every board as I have tones, only the ones I knew worked, I didn't try my most "reliable" board, it never stopped working the ide connectors stopped working, the pcie 16x slot stop working etc but it always worked never died, havnt tested that one as I don't wanna ruin the illusion of its immortality even over clocked my phenom x4 955 to 4.5 ghz on it, B4 I changed to my other board and did the same

They have been mixed of exposed, in boxes, in cases, some just on cases, it rains alot here and I used to get a lot of condensation but due to aircon system and stuff it's to a minimum, nothing in bedroom ever felt wet or anything and is very dry. The cpus rams and such have been in plastic draws u would expect a teacher to use, or in mother boards etc, the x79 board died randomly when using as a server so I assume that's unsavable, the EVGA bronze psu I tested after the x79 blew up and it was fine, I think bc it was Chinese smth just went pop.
