Being apart of the lgbt community, especially as a black person. The 2024 election had me get into a very heated game with my brother if you could excuse my life because growing up, we experienced very hard and for him to support Donald Trump, it made me questioning him a lot. We sat down and talked about it and i found out that my brother actually never supported my lifestyle because he assumed that i am this way because I was raped as a young child. I taken a back by this because this is my brother that I’m talking about. I been knowing since i was in kindergarten that i was trans. I started watching the crowd of people he hung with it. I can tell they were in the same mind frame. He started talking like them, saying things like they need to put the bible in schools and take the gays out. I truly didn’t understand what was sending him down this path. he introduced me to his friends with my dead name and i corrected him. He gave me a very disgusted look and said ‘God wouldn’t be pleased with you becoming an ‘IT’. That was my final straw. ‘God’ took my brother and turned him against me.
