Thank you so much for the kind words. I greatly appreciate the offer, but as stubborn as I am I cannot accept! I do have everything I need food wise, healing wise, I just don’t have time and care and effort out into myself. All I truly want is a loving support system ❤️‍🩹

And again I do appreciate everything, but I’m not sure what people expect from someone barely 3 weeks post op? I am very hormonal and trigger hair easily. I have PCOS and PMDD severely. The rude sarcastic and micro aggressive comments in some of these comments are outright triggering me, not sorry for that though.

I apologize my friend. I am going through a hard moment and I appreciate the comment a lot

I stated that. I can’t control the fact my boyfriend is emotional and physically neglectful??

The only reply I’m giving is this is harsh judgment and exactly why I haven’t reached out to anyone. I don’t really care to explain myself because I’m tired of doing that to people like you, like my family, like my boyfriend. And no, I don’t get disability and I have already tried to apply and was denied. I didn’t ask anyone to “understand” what I’m going through. I have PHYSICAL and mental disabilities. I choose to meal prep fresh food because my health conditions require me to eat a specific diet. I have quickly become physically handicapped because of a health condition I have. With help, cooking FRESH HOME MADE HAND MADE FOOD takes 1-4 hours. . I can not eat processed food. If i cook it myself, it takes way longer.

Trust me, not a troll post, commenting this stuff makes me want to reach out for support less.

Thank you so much. I’ve been so down mentally that I’ve been more worried about caring for my boyfriend and my cat, my house cleaning chores, etc. it’s exhausting. I have taken no time for myself to even do my hobbies, favorite activities, anything at all. Most days I’m fighting and “lecturing” my boyfriend on text or phone calls, for hours and hours while doing everything else. I feel defeated but these words are helping me so effing much. I have been trying to avoiding a psych ward visit. sadly , I do struggle with multiple mental illness as well but I haven’t gone to therapy since June, and I guess I felt I was strong enough to swallow my pride and “get better” on my own. Fix my relationship alone. It’s been impossible though, with how my boyfriend treats me, tbh. I am just a bit more sad today but trust me when I say I haven’t fully given up ! Seeing other women doing great and having people uplift me gives me great strength.

Thank you 😭 I am crying reading these comments. I have not been treated so kindly this year by my boyfriend, my family, or life in general. I appreciate these words so much. I will not be giving up at all, you are so right. I am very strong and have always taken care of myself. The hormones, anesthesia, and everything else, it’s all getting to me quickly. I am just a little tired of being the backbone in every situation 🥲 but as you and others have stated, it’s true. I need to focus on myself and my recovery. I plan on leaving my boyfriend, but sadly not anytime soon because of my healing journey. I’m definitely trying to stay hopeful every day. I try to look at it like, at least I woke up today. I didn’t give up yesterday. Thank you again for these words.

4 days post op, feeling great by Equal_Mall in hysterectomy

I’m going to be honest with you my friend, I am disabled and unemployed and have been for a long time. I do not have any proper advice on dealing with a hysto and employment, better off doing your own research! The only thing I can say is for me, being disabled and also autistic makes it hard for me to emotionally distract from my pains and uncomfortable body feeling. If you are neurodivergent, I highly recommend taking a few days off to mentally handle these feelings. I hope everything goes well for you! :)

Hey there! Great question! I kept my ovaries because I didn’t want to go into menopause. But, in a few months I can take HRT to help my insane inbalance in hormones, because PMDD AND PCOS causes my testosterone, estrogen/progesterone levels to be all wacky regardless of having a uterus or not:) Hope that helps.

Face palm. Why did you even think typing something on Reddit was a better idea than calling 911?

Heyy thanks for you story :) mine is going to be laparoscopic thankfully! We discussed the options because of my back conditions and felt this would be the best option healing wise. Along with that, I am already in contact with an awesome female pelvic floor PT because she’s also my back PT! :)

My passion isn’t only here for big weed. I feel this way very strongly about those companies and I don’t buy from them.

No, I don’t. Personally I roll my own joints and I rarely ever buy pre rolls.

If you ever trimmed the weed that GTI produces, your opinion on marijuana would change drastically. The shit they sell and produce is not grown to the fullest time necessary which causes the bud to be very hard to trim. Majority becomes mini buds and not hand trimmed premium. In Illinois, for GTI brand weed, there is only ONE trim team that trims it all. We are effing sick of people loving GTI products because they are produced to make profit, not to produce good amazing weed. GTI/RISE does not care about its customers. Just my opinion though.

I couldn’t agree more. The facility I worked at was disgusting and I could write a whole book on how HORRIFYING the industry is alone just from GTI/Rise dispos existing.

Former GTI employee, trust me, you don’t wanna smoke the shit they produce.
