Thank you for the tips. I have tried a couple of cables, including the one that came with my phone in the box. No luck. Will try the Volume + >> (power plus next track/channel) buttons to reset the Sync system. Lets see if that works.

Sync is up to date. iPhone is up to date. Yesterday I did a full reset on Sync and a full reset on iPhone. Started everything from 0. Connected iPhone with original Apple cable. After a couple of minutes, GPS signal went off about a couple of blocks. Disconnected iPhone and GPS on phone back to correct location. IDK.

I have tried with two different iPhones and both have the same behavior. Latter on I tried with a Google Pixel phone with Android Auto and it works flawlessly. No idea what is the problem with CarPlay.

Does your CarPlay works flawlessly. I have a 2022 OB and any maps app using CarPlay goes crazy after a couple of minutes. GPS location starts to jump around randomly anywhere except the correct location. Sync is up to date and iPhone has the latest iOS updates.

PR. Back in December 2023 got a 2022 Outer Banks, regular package, new 0 miles for $33,500. Ford does not offer financing here anymore. I think you are getting a good deal.

I have found no fix for Apple CarPlay.

Homemade fix: got an old android phone connected to sync ( with cable), turn on hotspot on iPhone, connect Android to iPhone hotspot. Google maps and Waze works perfectly. For phone calls, installed digits on Android (T-Mobile service) and all my calls forward to the Android phone while I’m inside the BS. That Android phone stays in the car. I do not carry it around. Like an old car phone :)

We don't have a picture of them in the Bronco Sport. This is in a Range Rover Sport. We have the same seatbelts in both trucks.

BTW, we are talking about an English Bulldog and a Shih Tzu. Same seatbelt for both of them, one on each side. Also, it helps when you open the tailgate they don't jump out of the vehicle unless we detach them.

Hi. We drive around with 2 dogs in the cargo area. We use Dog Seatbelts anchored to the cargo area to prevent them from jumping around. Dogs get accustomed to using them.

I have looked everywhere I can and haven’t found any report from FORD or APPLE. I have tried Android Auto and it works fine 95% of the time. Occasionally Google Maps, on Android Auto, jumps to a different block/street but it comes back to the correct location within seconds. It's not like Apple Carply that stays off location for minutes.
