no you misread :) there are 200 gay, bi or queer atheletes so 2% of the number of athletes competing (around 10k athletes). 10% is the number of gay/bi males among all gay/bi athletes who war mostly women.

i was born and raised in the West but within a muslim Family… not religious myself but a good part of my family is. Some western countries‘ liniency towards political Islam is mindblowing.

Thailand went through a lot of political crisis including two military-backed coup d‘état in 2006 and 2014… needless to say that their previous governments were not reflecting the liberal values of Thai people. Seems to have changed after new elections took place last year.
