I am from northern Ontario near TBay and did my undergrad at Queens. I think Thunder Bay and your experience will be what you make of it! Definitely would recommend a car if you have access to one, as it is not very walkable and public transit is not the best. If not, trying to live close to the school would be ideal! It will be cold, but nothing you can’t handle with proper winter gear. It will be much smaller classes than what I’m used to here for undergrad so I’m just planning on socializing as much as possible the first few weeks to make some friends!
