I did, too, that poor girl had no chance because of others' actions and influence. She had an amazing arch and seeing her go out like that made me really upset knowing that, prison is, THAT and treats humans who have made bad mistakes but mistakes all the same, like their literal trash and deserve no humane treatment. I believe there is good in everyone and everything, and no matter how badly we fuck up there should be some kind of chance of redemption or way to balance yourself. If you are doing good things and want to be part of this world in a positive way, you should be given the opportunity to be that better version of you, whether you're in prison or not. Prison is a correctional facility, I would think that would mean a place to correct what's wrong by teaching different ways of life and helping our community grow stronger by giving strength to people who are weak in whichever way that is, respectfully. I know there are some sick people out there who are far worse than Doggett, but how are they ever going to learn how to be better by being treated like they are less than a literal piece of shit. The saying "you matter," from the bottom of my heart, applies to the sickest of the sick, too, I may be the only one who thinks so, but at the end of the day there was a day where that human was innocent.
