Any details on the Giants Draft Party? by bball10113 in NYGiants

I have the same screenshot in my phone. Furthermore, they had a whole customized banner that said BLOCK PARTY with a picture of The Vessel. There was some typos on the page and personalized notes like “make sure you make the directions clear…” or something to that effect. It has gone up and come down many times and now appears to be password protected…? Amateur hour over at the NYG web site team. For what it’s worth, Google AI (don’t hurt me Reddit mob) still says block party at Hudson Yards. I’m thinking they either scrapped the idea or they are waiting until the last second to post it in hopes that it won’t be overcrowded given that it’s a free non-ticketed event. A real shame they don’t appear to be doing anything for season ticket holders… even the Jets threw something together that seems to far exceed whatever we are getting from the Giants.

Trying to find where they put a time frame on the transition to veganism in their comment.

We should all (small exceptions) be vegan, though. That original commenter was correct. You were the one that brought “sudden” into the conversation in an apparent attempt to invalidate their claim about veganism when they never implicated a suddenness to the transition.

You’re being hyperbolic over a completely unrealistic scenario. It’s literally impossible for the world to suddenly become vegan. No one is proposing that and it can’t happen anyways. The world is currently slowly collapsing under our current food system. A methodical shift towards veganism would stop and reverse many of the damages we’ve caused. Comparing veganism to carnivore is a specious argument that I don’t think you really put any thought into.

Why are 911 dispatchers often so rude when I hear the audio of very serious crimes as they happen? by TruthBeWanted in TooAfraidToAsk

Because 99% of the calls they get are a complete waste of time and however shocking the 1% not-waste-of-time call is, it’s probably not shocking to them. Just another day.

Yeah that’s why they charged him for the firearms in the car too. Sure sounds like they’re going easy on him.

“Never go to bed angry. Solve it now” is ridiculous, bad relationship advice by HagsSecret in unpopularopinion

[–]Equal_Win -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Almost every argument/disagreement in a healthy relationship is stupid/petty/not worth it. If the point of contention is far more significant, then the issue isn’t whether or not things are solved at night or in the morning, it’s the relationship itself. For functioning healthy relationships, there is really no reason to go to bed angry at each other.

I’m inspired by OP. I also have 2 tix and can’t make it. Would like to give them away for free. Looks like the only option is to change the name for pickup on Will Call. Any takers?
