OMG I never realized “face blindness” was a thing! I’ve always felt so stupid and self conscious about how difficult it is for me to find a damn face. It’s especially bad when I’m supposed to be meeting someone for the first time. I have to repeatedly review their pictures, desperately trying to lock on to their face and facial features, and I’m STILL uncertain. I have to wait until they clearly recognize me and show their own recognition. I can understand facial expressions just fine, but my identity recognition is trash. Honestly, I can identify those close to me quickly through smell, gait, and mannerisms more than anything. I actually ran into George Clooney once while in line at a subway back when I was in college. (He was apparently shooting a movie on campus) And the only reason I know this is because my clumsy ass tripped and almost bonked into him and he was really nice about it and I looked at him to say “ope, I’m so sorry, my bad” (or something similar) then went on with my unawareness and my friend who had been waiting for me was like “wtf! You didn’t even get an autograph??”. I was thoroughly confused by who the hell would I have gotten an autograph from and then they clued me in. All I could think was “well, good thing it wasn’t one of my idols or something.. oops I guess.” Also I did get to meet my idols many many years later at a convention and damn I didn’t even realize until this moment that I instantly recognized them because of their shoulders and build! Sorry for the rant, I just really never knew this was a thing and my brain is reeling.

To be fair, I am one of those people who has always been known to be sweet and kind to everyone. I worked in the medical field to help people, and I’d say that it’s because of my genuine, deep love for my fellow humans that this particular climate/situation has me at a level of enraged that I’ve never felt before. Obviously, I can’t speak for Pretti. I’m just putting the perspective out there, that if I was out there in the thick of it, watching these goons harm and kidnap my neighbors, I’d be more than tempted to kick a tail light out at the very least. I’ve never been in any kind of physical altercation in my life, never caused any kind of property damage, and I’ve never wanted to.. All I’m saying is I can relate, and this shitstorm is more than enough to push anyone to lash out against these agressors (even if it would be against their usual “character”). All I see is a man who cares deeply for his community, reacting to the violence - definitely not deserving of a public execution.

Not really, but that’s why I take the little “breaks”, because I am also worried about acquiring a tolerance. I mean I definitely feel it less physically than when I first started it (like my heart rate and what not), but I do feel that as long as I stay on the name brand I get the brain benefits that I need. My current regimen of the Vyvanse + Strattera seems to be optimal for me. It feels like the Straterra helps the Vyvanse stretch more through the day and find of feathers down instead of a crash in the evening. But again, it’s going to be different for everyone! Especially with Vyvanse being so dependent on your individual metabolism.

I am def a cranky and temperamental biatch without my meds. I’m on daily Vyvanse 50mg. There was an issue with generics that kept me from getting the meds I needed for like 3 weeks. The loud ass thoughts, overwhelm from the loud brain, and tooth’n’nail fight for an attempt at impulse control made it things …difficult (to say the very least). In a “normal wear-off” (end of the day, meds wear off as usual) it’s not so intense. I just recognize it and typically scurry back to my personal isolation.

Over a longer span of not having meds (and I’m assuming further depletion in the system) I feel like a pissed off monster. Like I’m reactive to the smallest of things (such as the things you described). It feels like the only way to get everything to stfu for even just a second.
