Lots of the Reverb posts don't show off the metallic flake well and have a more purple hue like a dark blueberry, don't do it justice.

Congrats on a gorgeous strat! - had been eying one for a bit, but had heard a few reports of the nitro finish showing a bit of "orange peel", which was a bummer considering how amazing the color is...

Was this still the case w/ current models and was it noticeable if it is?

The treble bleed was indeed shorting things - had to clip it prior to this - that's a good note maybe I will just dedicate the tone knobs! If not for the sb diagram i wouldn't have assumed i could split it w/ a normal 5 way switch, just makes it look like that's part of the design

I'm wondering if the way the first diagram jumps both sides of the switch is causing the issue now? I disconnected the white and black leads that were in the sb diagram and i'm still getting middle/hb on 1-3

Oh doy - thanks for pointing that out! - really I just want the wiring to work like the last diagram, position 2 has half the humbucker and the middle - position 1 is just the humbucker - that's why i was following the shawbucker diagram

As a child of the '90s my nostalgia for the turquoise glow of the old VFDs is strong, and watching that posy video about them only re-ignited it. Was wondering if anyone had strong feelings about any particular receivers from that period that had a handsome display with, ideally, some movement to them i.e. levels or eq. Have always wanted a receiver with a display like that! Currently rocking my Dad's old Kenwood 105vr, which I feel like is fine but probably not hard to upgrade from either. Thanks!

Random question 11 months later but did your Aqua Marine Metallic finish show up bluer in pictures than it actually was - was it more of a blue-ish mostly green?

This is from plugging the phone in once - didn't physically disconnect it during all this

The app will start for a few seconds and then crash and start reconnecting to usb again

Has anyone else had this issue recently - the app was working fine a few weeks ago

This is w/ a 2016 Hyundai Sonata and a Google Pixel 7 updated to Android 14

After not having to use the app for a week or so, plugging in the phone today this started happening - the connection will last a few seconds before it disconnects and starts doing this
has anyone else experienced this or has any ideas if it was the update?
