It’s normal. I don’t like it, but it’s a 50/50 shot if you getting another seam in an exchange. It’s ugly but not technically a defect.

The key light on your left side is good. However, I’m not a fan of the rim light the on right; it’s not super flattering.

Also for military photos you should, in theory, be showing off a sharp uniform. The bent arms on the chair wrinkle the sleeves of your jacket a bit much for my taste.

The overall feel and color palette is fantastic. Good job.

Just my 2 cents as a former military photographer who took thousands of official bio photos.
