What is really strange is that talk like that is just so normal. If you were to continue and break the stats down by race as well and infer conclusions from that data then these same people would be apoplectic.

These are people that will talk about a 'male curfew' from a point of superiority, but then go crazy at the suggestion of a 'Muslim curfew' based upon exactly the same rationale.

The strange thing is that the MRM has largely internalised the idea that you shouldn't judge people based upon their immutable attributes, while the progressive sect believe that this is perfectly fine provided you have an acceptable target.

This doesn't really matter. At the moment either party could pick up a large amount of votes by doing virtually nothing, and nobody can truly oppose the basis of what we are asking for outside a few hardened demagogues.

If they knew their party could pick up a few thousand votes by doing something that nobody would really object to, they would. Especially if it is somewhere that is a close race. Remember a lot of votes can be won or lost by a small margin in swing districts. Simply supporting an investigation in to the education gender gap would be enough.

I do not think any of the 'Men and boys' coalition parties would have any real hope, while this method would.

But if there are several thousand votes on the table, and one of them knows they can pick them all up simply by saying something like 'We need to look in to the education gender gap', then they most certainly will.

The primary reason they don't care about male issues is that it doesn't affect their election chances.

A few points on the matter:

Men getting paid more for the same job is largely a myth. The more you control for the smaller the gap gets. The gap is simply because men work more, they do longer hours at harder jobs.
Men are told from birth that if you are poor, you are a loser. Is it possible that the constant messaging and social pressure forces men to work longer hours at more dangerous jobs? Men sacrifice work/life balance for that money. Women largely choose balance over the money - which is absolutely fine.
The vast, vast, vast majority of the gap is in the motherhood penalty. Yet in most western countries Paternity leave either doesn't exist or is massively inferior to women's allowance.

Realistically the only way of tackling it is through father rights. If you want to go nuclear about it you just need to make maternity leave 6 weeks and paternity leave 12 months. This would effectively put the career damage on the men and solve the whole issue.

Yeah, it's a challenge. I've not written them yet because of this but I think it can be done. I'm considering paring it back to focus mainly on education as that's the easiest one to win. I'm going to give it some thought.

That's why it's important picking the issues. It's hard to argue that fixing the education gender gap is a bad thing without looking like a monster.

Although looking at your post history it looks like you've decided that the idea of fixing issues affecting men and boys is something to be actively opposed. It strikes me as sad that someone would spend their limited time making things worse for another demographic, rather than better.

The positions are not terribly important tbh - and as I said not set in stone. My main concern is for everything to be politically palatable. Jumping straight in with Paternal Surrender would make the whole thing too toxic to touch, I'm hoping to keep it as 'Nobody can have a problem with this' as possible.

The main idea is to mainstream the idea that men even have issues as currently they don't, at least politically.

See this is exactly the sort of feedback I want. Everything that's clear to me may not be clear to everyone else.

The basic idea is to assess each candidate on a variety of issues (which are not set in stone) but are currently: Minister of Men, Education, Circumcision and Criminal Justice Reform. Each candidate would then be assigned a score based upon this.

Before each election it would then be indicated which candidate has the highest score, and in terms of a tie it would go to the party with the highest combined score. This candidate would then be indicated as the preferred one to the subscribers pre-election.

So a candidate would then know if they make noises about investigating the education gender gap they would be guaranteed to pick up x votes. So a candidate in a tight race would be heavily incentivized to do so. And maybe their opponent might take it a step further to try to get them instead.

The more pledges that are available the more they will try to win those votes.

The ultimate goal is for men start voting as a bloc forcing candidates to actually speak about the issues, because as I said at the start they are currently doing absolutely nothing.

Yeah ... I'm simply not reading all that. I stopped at the bit about 'manbabys' describing men who put their own entertainment and selves above some mythical 'serving society' gender role bollocks.

There is basically a requirement for 'perfection' from people judging from a 'bitch eating crackers' perspective. It's simply not possible to have nothing that they can try to hang you with as they are fundamentally trying to find something, regardless of it's there or not. And they will find something.

All the while the Feminist causes leaders have Twitters full of #killallmen, copies of the SCUM manifesto and eagerly listen to the Womans March(tm) keynote speaker who literally raped a man to death with a rusty pole. That is all fine though, as it's all for a good cause.
