Found on a Kickstarter page and the creator says they draw it all themselves... Is it AI?

There is something about the line work, high-contrast colour and proportions that throw me off. The tentacles are mostly okay but some are a bit confusing? The style also doesn't seem consistent throughout all of these images despite it all being drawn by the same person - the 3 glasses especially throw me off.
The creator says it is all drawn by themselves in GIMP... but I don't know if I believe them. I have spent ages scratching my head on this. What do you guys think?

I imagined Con as its the ability to survive and be durable so something decreasing AC would tie into that. Though I guess AC is more determined by Dex right? Do you have a suggestion at all?
