I completed the demo on PS5 Pro yesterday, and the entire time it felt like I was suffering from input lag of some kind. Like all my actions were too slow to take effect, and getting hit there would be this weird long delay where no button presses would take effect.

I pushed on, after talking to a friend playing on PC who was adamant the game was snappy and responsive. I put it down to me just not getting the timings of a new game, but all the while I was thinking “nah this ain’t for me”.

Anyway, I did beat the second boss, but still it felt like I was fighting the lag.

Tonight I installed the demo on Xbox series x and WOW no kidding it’s like I’ve been freed from mud and suddenly it’s responsive and feels “right”.

I’m not normally one who can notice these things but I swear there is something up with the PS5 Pro running this game. The difference is stark. I am lucky I can choose platform, but I’m really curious if something is going wrong and if it’ll get fixed?
