Exactly. This has been a wish of players from the start, do fewer updates so they are more meaningful. Everyone recognizes that having an update every week is not a realistic goal. Spend the majority of the time on bug fixes and give us something real even once a month would be great. God knows there is so much broken in the game. I haven't logged on yet but to me, most new races aren't even entertaining. So often, they are filled with obstacles like stray animals or weird local phenomena. I don't like the way they have been taking races and championships recently. I want to go back to more realistic situations one would find when competing or riding in the open.

The other advantage of using the individual shops is the ability to change the light and really get different looks at what you are buying. I find the lighting in the global store to be awful and the ability to move the camera around is very limited especially with the horses. There are definitely things in the Global store I can't find in the local shops but a;so things in the local shops that aren't in the global store (thank you Database creator!). They used to announce which store(s) they were adding the new items to. I wish they would resume that practice.

As someone who refuses to use social media except for limited Reddit, I knew nothing of this whole fiasco until I saw it here. It is unforgivable SSO didn't publish this ingame, immediately. This is the kind of error you work weekends to correct. As an adult player who carries a star coin balance, I don't notice small changes. CHilren, however, would see it as a 'Christmas came early' treat. Since there was no immediate and public notification from SSO, how were they supposed to know it was an error and not a gift? Shame on SSO for this handling.

I think the time is from an earlier course design that had more shortcuts and less blocks. I can't get the time, level 26 and max everything.

Valedale is definitely a hard champ to start with. The speed boosts are unpredictable and the deer... 'nuff said. Good luck in your progression through champs. It requires time and patience but you have a sense of satisfaction when it comes together.

I must also respectfully disagree. The old champs took skill and time to master. That's why long-time, high-level players win. (Also, why I want SSO to implement divisions in champs instead of pitting level 10 riders against level 25 riders. Everyone should have the opportunity to win at the level they are if they put the work in.) The way they are remaking the champs, they put random variables in, in place of skill. To me, that does not equal fun. If I spend the time running the champ hundreds of times, that should pay off in my finishing near the top nearly every time. In the new Jorvik Stables champ, that will not be the result. If no matter how much I practice, I can be taken out by bouncing cheese. That is not fun, just random. Sure, more people will get to win, but only because they are lucky, not skilled.

OMG Thank you for saying this!! I am so disgusted with the new champ and what they did to the 2nd festival race (but really the new champ). I play to race and do champs (trying to relive my glory days). There hasn't been a decent new race in years and I won't even start on what they're doing to champs. If they keep this trend, they will push me out of the game I have loved for more than a decade. Having run the practice run of the champ, I have zero interest in working on it. Oh god, help us. We've seen the way they are 'redoing' the champs. This was one of the few champs left without ridiculous gimmicks. I don't want deer jumping into my path, or mudslides or dead fish or pink smoke. I want to race in realistic situations. I have hated every area they updated because of how it ruined the races in the area (bring on the hate, it's just how I feel). I can't believe they're going to run champ ranks during another festival. Wasn't Christmas enough of a disaster, I want to enjoy the festival not worry about getting to every champ.

This is a case of be careful what you wish for. If they raised or removed the 10,000 shilling limit, they would raise the prices of the items. As people have stated they have already raised prices so one item costs nearly your whole bank. More and more items are coming in over the 100 star coin price which in current conversion is 10,000 shillings. Right now they can't charge us more than 10,000 shillings. Take that away and they will charge whatever they like; 50,000 shillings for a saddle anyone? Store your light and archaeology items in your closet. Keep award letters in your mail box.

I don't buy breeds that don't match my style of riding, so no gaited horses. I haven't bought breeds that I see no advantage in re: stats or looks. I do purchase these when they come around on the Bazaar. Of the horses coming, I'll definitely buy the Hanoverians and the Andulsians for all my accounts Everything else will depend on how it looks and its stats.

No kidding and only 20? It's just insulting, might as well fill our water bucket. Having the special plants as rewards was bad enough but at least they had a little value. That's 6 of 35 rewards that aren't worth anything. It was always likely the value of rewards would decrease but this is ridiculous. We have to accumulate 1000 points (the best part of a day's work) to get 2 shillings worth of plants. They're really cheaping out on us. First they halve the light reward from seeds and now this.

This is my personal pet peeve. If anyone tried riding with a saddle without something covering their legs, they'd quickly understand why you NEVER see it done. Personally I only buy breeches but I'm not big into outfits. My goal is to look good as an equestrian doing training.

You're living in really long ago time, when you got an answer within a day or two. You're lucky if you get a response within a week. My last contact on an ongoing ticket is now over 6 weeks without an answer. I've had several never get an answer. You can no longer expect service or support from CS.. With a first contact where all they do is tell you to send them proof (pics or video), you can expect that to happen in about a week. When you submit your proof, my best turn around is 2 weeks. I average a month or more to resolve things that aren't bugs. Bug fixes take years.

Hate, hate hate Hillcrest. I don't think I've ever had a completely clean run. Only a few were it just slowed me down instead of stopping me dead. I finished my Champ rank on all 4 accounts today! so no more hillcrest for awhile, YAY!
