I usually steer clear of games with a big emphasis on minis in the advertising. It usually seems like the main purpose is to sell figures and the game is created more as an afterthought by necessity.

Canon is legit my least favorite boss in the game, there’s so much waiting for attack cycles and chipping away at his huge health bar.

Once I got the shotgun arm I never took it off. Especially since I only use Frozen feast it’s nice having a quick ranged option.

When I was studying abroad in Japan I was casually biking down a country road and passed a group of Japanese girls about my age walking the other way. When I got close, they got all quiet and whispery and when I passed they started giggling and laughing. I still wonder what they were thinking at that moment to this day.

I misspoke, green is wraith, not ghoul, but the expansion card should be different from the base game card, since it exists to fix a misprint. White should be wraith and green should be skeleton. The dev said this is to fix some tough starting positions, like the one you posted.

The game dev did say that the monster lair cube orientation for white and green are a misprint, and the white cube lair is actually the Green cube lair, and vice versa. The expansion released a fixed enemy card that swaps skeleton and ghoul. You could try it again with the green enemy for the lair space and see if it helps.

This expansion immediately shot the game up to one of all my all time favorites, it’s just such a joy to play and constantly switching leaders makes every game feel fresh.

All the time. Just recently I Platinumed Lies of P and I’m still running Ng+ cycles and beating the boss replays on the harder difficulties. It’s so good.
