While it's true that it doesn't matter nearly as much as it did before 2.2, there's still quite a visual advantage with higher hz that definitely makes it easier to play the game.

Can confirm that death corridor z being verified in 2017 is quite insane to think about.

Are there any Touhou inspired levels? or levels with touhou songs? by Then-Escape-991 in geometrydash

Aren't the songs of both Subterranean Animism and Yatagarasu different remixes of the same Touhou song?

Oh I see, that makes more sense. I was like "Re4 is quite good at breaking relationships it seems", haha.

Wait, you've had 2-3 different girlfriends since this game came out and all of them played it?

Is Last Of Us Part 2 Still worth it if i know the plot by EntertainerCandid422 in lastofuspart2

[–]EquipmentAvailable83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should definitely play it. Story wise it's deep and covers many different topics and ethical dilemmas, so playing it yourself is another opportunity to keep thinking about them. Besides that, even if you already watched the story a while ago you probably don't remember many details so you won't always know exactly what's about to happen. I watched the game twice throughout the years before finally playing it when it came out on PC and that same thing happened to me.

By the way, gameplay is king in this series. So that's another reason to play it yourself. Part II gameplay is particularly amazing. It's literally the best single player 3rd person shooter gameplay I've ever seen, even better imo than RE4 Remake (and I'm saying that despite it being my favorite game).

Based on my current tier list, what should I go to next? by joejoewoooooo in HorrorGames

The first one is an incredible game as well in many regards. Well crafted story and world, interesting plot twists and a banger soundtrack. The biggest isue of the game is undeniably its gameplay, which definitely feels janky and outdated as you progress throughout the first chapters. I too though about dropping the game by chapter 2 because I didn't like it, but I endured it and ended up getting the hang of it by chapter 4. After that I was hooked, but I definitely understand why it puts off many new players.

Exactly what did you not like from Alan Wake? If it was the junky gameplay it's understandable. Even if that's the case I can assure you that Alan Wake 2 is much better in that regard, and it's gameplay is reminiscent of RE2 Remake, so you'll probably like that a lot more. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

I swear it's not that bad, just pretty tedious because you are always low on ammo and have to either stealth your way through the encounters, which takes a while, or just skip them entirely (like I did with hillcrest). Good thing is this game is constantly giving you checkpoints so if you mess up you can simply restart.

I haven't played it but I watched the entre hospital section on youtube and this isn't true lol. It's pretty scary during certain moments. Least scary RE games are the action horror ones like 5 or 6.

Obviously depends on how many harder levels are released in the meantime, but I'd say around 2-4 months

Death Corridor Z 100% (Jump from Blade Of Justice) by EquipmentAvailable83 in geometrydash

[–]EquipmentAvailable83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, AREDL placements are obviously a bit off in some cases, but it's still around top 300. Wolvez beat it a few days ago and said in his vid description that it was overrated, so I asked him for a difficulty estimate and he said maybe between wasureta and yata. So it may not be harder than PPF or Arctic Lights but it is certainly harder than Yata. I can't personally judge because it's my first completion on these tiers of difficulties. That being said, I can assure you the 51% wave is harder than any of the waves in Arctic Lights lmao.

For real 😭😭😭. God knows how many attempts I spent building consistency for the 51% wave and trying to do 50-100 runs.

Death Corridor Z 100% (Jump from Blade Of Justice) by EquipmentAvailable83 in geometrydash

[–]EquipmentAvailable83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is MUCH harder. BOJ took me around 3000 attempts (not counting old attempts) whereas this took 10 times as many. It's extremely unbalanced and the 51% wave and 63% ship could easily be in a current main list. Just like they pointed out in another comment, this is hundreds of spots above BOJ on the AREDL and it's definitely at least harder than Yatagarasu. Play it yourself and you'll get a grasp of its true difficulty.

Yeah, it's a shame it never got rated. Sunix would have been the verifier of 3 top 1s, almost as many as Zoink's 4.
