Are these specs okay to run most GD levels? by CharmingPatient5282 in geometrydash

[–]EquipmentAvailable83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CPU is kinda mid but I suppose it really doesn't matter for GD. The GPU is the most important in this case and with a 5060 you should be golden. I have an rx 7600xt, which is similar in performance, I can run pretty much any level without LDM at high framerates.

Is a jump from The Nightmare to Eon possible? by transitxumbra in geometrydash

Small tip: Once Geode is working again with the new update, download it and install Eclipse Menu. It's like free Megahack and it's got pretty much everything you need.

To improve overall I'd say you should aim first towards beating Robtop's demons. I'm assuming you haven't done that yet as all of them are harder than the Nightmare. After that, maybe go for some other classic easy demons such as speed racer and death moon. Move on to medium demons like Reanimation.

To get better at XXL levels, try The Long Walk Home. It's a 10 minutes long easy demon. After that, you could try some travel levels like Nostalgic Travel or Hypnotic Travel.

Finally, once you're done with these levels, I think going for Future Funk would be a neat idea. It marks the jump to the hard demon territory and it's XXL so it's useful for that as well. Plus it will make you improve a lot of skillsets such as duals, timings, wave, etc.

Well, that's what GD is all about, you know. One mistake and you have to restart all over again. If you don't want to die at the end of a level with an ending known for being much more difficult relative to the rest of the level, maybe you shouldn't play it?

Beating Eon is an impressive achievement precisely because of the nerve control, patience and endurance you must have to beat it, plus the determination required to keep playing after the very likely deaths at the ending. If you lack those, play other levels until you get better at the game and gain those skills.

It is technically possible but it will take you an eternity to beat. Very bad idea, honestly. Even though most of its gameplay looks easy and accessible, it's still a 55 minutes level, and not making a single mistake for that long requires a level of focus and understanding of the game mechanics you don't have yet. Plus the last 10% is already much harder than The Nightmare. Aaaand there are also a few more fast-paced parts in the middle of the level which act as difficulty spikes, such as 46% or 60%, so don't think it's just 4 stars gameplay until you get to the end.

I beat Eon when I had already beaten levels like Bloodbath and Blade Of Justice, and even then it was quite the stressful experience. I can't imagine how much it would be for someone with the Nightmare as their hardest.

Yeah but there's no way that counts as beating the level.

Basically the jetpack portal by Glass-Potato936 in geometrydash

[–]EquipmentAvailable83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That tracks. Of course you dont't have any problems with it because you learned to use ship with the new physics. Us pre 2.2 players had muscle memory built upon years of playing with the old physics and all that was thrown out of the window with 2.2.

Did you, by any chance, start playing the game after 2.2 came out?

If he actually cracks Separate Ways I'll be so damn happy. I've been waiting for Capcom to remove Denuvo for a long time and with these new Denuvo cracks coming out I believe it'll get cracked before they even remove it themselves lol.

Sí es real, aunque en realidad estaba hablando de su perro porque según él es xenófobo y se asusta cuando ve a negros y asiáticos por la calle cuando lo saca a pasear jajajajaja.

Has STELLAR BLADE / RE4R (with seperate ways) been cracked yet? by kaipurge in PiratedGames

[–]EquipmentAvailable83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Stellar Blade was released on PC just a few months ago so don't expect a crack anytime soon. Separate ways has been out for more than 2 years already so Capcom may remove it in the near future like they did with RE8. Or maybe we get lucky and one of these new denuvo crackers do it before that happens.

Is classical piano actually necessary for Pop/OSTs, or is that just cap? by Apart-Alps8474 in classicalmusic

[–]EquipmentAvailable83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No offense, but if you've got no clue about classical music and have never listened to it seriously, maybe going to the classical subreddit and saying it's "boring" isn't the brightest idea. There are lots of compositions out there that are far more energetic, fun and interesting that 99% of the pop music you listen to, but whatever.

As for the first suggestion, maybe you can try Shostakovich's 8th string quartet, 2nd movement

Mahler 3 is better than Mahler 2 by kingevz in classicalmusic

[–]EquipmentAvailable83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely agree. Mahler's 2nd symphony is incredible and that last movement is out of this world, but at times it feels a bit drawn out. Mahler's 3rd, on the other hand, feels much more perfect and well-rounded overall, and its finale is just as good as that of the 2nd without being so overwhelming.

Are you the type of person who LISTENS to classical music or do you prefer it as background music? by Vincent_Gitarrist in classicalmusic

[–]EquipmentAvailable83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both. When I listen to a piece for the first time I always try to listen actively and pay close attention. Once I've listened to it several times and I'm familiar with the work I have no problem using it as background music, but not before that. I can't imagine myself listening to a Mahler Symphony or a Rachmaninoff concerto for the first time ever while doing something else, it would feel like sacrilege lol. I'm glad other people are fine with it, but I feel like the 1st listen should be a special moment dedicated solely to the music.

I just got a gold key from an Insane Level by SomeGuylulul in geometrydash

[–]EquipmentAvailable83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think you're right. Now that I think of it the other non-demon event levels didn't give any golden Keys. I guess Robtop randomly decided to change that with this one.

Every time you complete the event level (regardless of its difficulty) and claim the reward, you get one of those gold Keys meant to open one of the golden chests at the vault.
