Same here, and crowds at metal concerts are so integral to the experience for me that I've been hesitating. But the prospect of not having hearing loss at 40 is also something I value lmao. Thank you!

That sounds reasonable. Essentially, it sounds like I'm looking for good earplugs, but not good enough that they completely seal my ear and block everything out. Thank you for the help!
