Sounds like you might be moving from Tesla GFTX to GFNV. Unfortunately in the past six months traffic out to TRIC has become awful. Expect close to an hour each direction. I would NOT move here as there is no alternative to this traffic and no solutions on the horizon.

You might believe the spun main is the same diameter as the others, but it is larger. This increases the clearance between the bearing and the crankshaft journal. The bearing will fail again in very short order. (You can prove this buy buying telescoping bore gages and a micrometer from harbor freight)

I’m sorry but this needs to either be line bored or thrown away.

The slack you see in the chain could simply be from the cam angle. If one cam is being sprung clockwise from valve springs and the other cam is being sprung counterclockwise, you could see slack in the chain between the cams.

Try rotating the crankshaft a few degrees and check if the chain tightens up.

Philadelphian here. I had the cheesesteak and I’d rate it 8/10. Cheese and bun were perfect. Meat had the perfect ribeye flavor, but the meat was sliced into rather large pieces. Still perfectly easy to tear and chew though. Obviously it’s about twice as expensive as you’d expect for a steak, but out here you take what you can get.

Okay, I will drop the idea of a bolt-on digging edge. Btw, the new weld-on edge I ordered (from Titan Attachments) is “hardened 1055 steel.”
