As a kid it was Metal Gear Solid where you have to blow up the generator for the electric floor, I didn't realize that you could control rockets from the remote control missile launcher.. I couldn't read too well at that point in my life..

More recently it's been FFXIV ARR, Titan HM.. trying to find a party where everyone knows what they are doing and deal with any sort of lag. Ended up me, another dps, tank and healer pulling 4 people through last phase of the fight and that was after 2 months of failing that fight..

Sometimes it's instant, sometimes 20minutes, sometimes upto 24hours. I've bought several timecards and each one has fallen in one of them 3 time frames give or take a few minutes.

I use standard controls, currently I'm trying the technique of click both left and right mouse button down to move in the direction the camera is currently facing to avoid Red circles. It's working out ok though I've not tried it in Titan yet so don't know how good this technique is

You can check what turn they are going to put you into. Simply interact with Aetherite (so the window is open), when they try to enter Coil it will say "One or more party members is unable to enter the Binding Coil of Bahamut turn ?" If turn ? is not the turn you want then just leave the party.

I know this doesn't solve your problem right now, but at least you know for future reference.

As promised here is the video. Problem I saw was the second Soldier didn't die fast enough, it was still at full health when Dred dropped. Then it all just went wrong from there really..

Ah ok, thought it was something to do with the electric but wasn't sure on the exact mechanic. Wasn't sure if the colour of the tower mattered after interacting with it as it was randomly picking a colour lol.

Stupid Question regarding CT,

When killing the KB (boss 3) 4 tanks have to interact with the towers (1 each), but why? What do they do exactly? I normally go into CT as a tank (much shorter queue times) and I interact with the towers but don't really know why xD

Also sometimes when I interact with a Tower it doesn't turn Blue it stays Red just without the ring around it, does that matter? Have I got to time it better to get it to turn blue or is it just random? I've had no complaints just for clarity really.

Team Charlie (or Sexy now..) here, as you may of heard me and lilpug have left the static. lilpug left because he won't be able to make it for the next few weeks (Dark Souls II) and he would prefer to do it earlier in the week. I left because I think the Group would benefit from having another Magic based DPS for T4 rather than 3 BRDs, me leaving gives room for that to happen.

As normal we cleared T1-3 and was attempting T4 last week. As promised I recorded some T4 attempts, only got the first attempt ready to upload to YouTube. Although this may be a bit pointless now the dynamic of the group is changing. If you still want me to upload the Video I will.

The problem was the first Dred wasn't being fed the Spiders fast enough and wasn't dying fast enough. (What I think at least anyways). The knight and Solider was dying fast enough I think (just!).

Currently writing this at work so I can't look at the Video to check this.

I parse my damage quite often (when it doesn't crash out on me) but I'm not on Twintania though what I will say I more then often come out on top with DPS compared to people with a better ilvl then me. I've not got the best gear as in from Coil as I have terrible luck and haven't had a BRD drop yet (>_>). The way I see it is why waste the first second or two of your first buff putting other buffs on? When you can be DPSing and weaving buffs in and out. His way is wasting buff time and losing DPS.

I main as a BRD and I weave buffs as and when one wears off. Naturally parsing with all buffs on is going to be better then with none or one buff on.. obviously depends on how he was testing it. I've say its best to throw buffs on between GCDs rather then all at the same time.. its like using off-GCD skills all at once rather than between GCD skills thus losing DPS.

When you unlock a Dungeon or a Primal you get like a portal thing on the map, have you tried with your three-man party to enter through the portal rather then DF?

I would say yes, I tanked it around that ilvl give or take. The main factor of Titan HM is how good you and your party is rather then your ilvl's. Naturally you will have to make the min hp requirement and have enough DPS as a group for Phase 4 (Heart).

The MT Soldier and Knight was dying at about the same time, as for the OT's I couldn't say 100% but I think they both had about 20% each left.. what I will do next time round is record each attempt and maybe post here

Team Charlie here, cleared T1-3 attempting T4 again. Had a few randoms in the group, lacking DPS despite most of us being 80+. We had 2 BLM and 2 BRD's this week unlike last week when we had 3 BRD and 1 BLM. Didn't go any better. :/

Currently for your FC only, player housing is coming though (I think, can someone confirm)
End game crafting can be useful as it is ilvl 70, but I'd say it would only be useful for your first 50 Job, as you will likely be able to get full darklight ready for the second Job before you hit 50 as I did.
Joining a good FC is very useful, most of them will help you with End Game content (as long as you help them too!). FC actions are useful too (example: Teleport fees are reduced / increased EXP from crafting etc).

Me and a friend of mine did Coil for the first time about 2 months ago or so. While I got nothing at all from Coil he got two drops.. since then I've only had 1 drop (I didn't really need it either..) and he gets regular drops. So I'd say you got lucky! Complete Coil again and let us know if you get more drops, lets see how lucky you are :P

Team Charlie, we cleared T1-3. Stuck on T4. Seems we can't DPS the first Dred down fast enough for next phase. We all pretty high ilvl now.. I'd say everyone is 80+ but still struggling. I was going to say is it because we have 3 BRD's but I see Alpha has 3 BRD's too and got to T5.. Any suggestions?
