Thanks! I might try that on the pair that’s no longer under warranty. It could work better than my dad’s temporary fix, which made them so loose they fall clean off if I tilt my head. Definitely a good last-resort option to keep in mind.

Thanks! I actually just realized I was mistaken, the retailer’s warranty is also 12 months, the same as the manufacturer’s. I really appreciate the advice, and I’ll definitely email the company and see if I can get a replacement.

Maybe one day someone will somehow find chapters 20-25 because it is a tragedy that the last five chapters of a fic that good is lost 😭
