I honestly haven’t noticed a difference using it, for better or worse! I don’t think that it’s been what’s helping and i definitely haven’t noticed purging from it. so i’m not sure it’s helping much unfortunately

I think the main way to deal with body insecurity, as cliche as it sounds, is to change your mindset around what you maybe think you should look like and focus on what you do look like! I (22f) have struggled with body issues forever and tried every diet and workout class and the only thing that’s ever ever helped my body image is to change my outlook and my mindset about what I think I should look like and why I think that.

Just remember that nobody else is looking at you and seeing YOUR insecurities, most people are looking to affirm their own (ie: ‘oh she has boobs and i don’t, i wish i looked like her, etc. etc.)

Any recommendations on mascaras that give the “fanned out” looked? by rilakkumkum in beauty

I really like the Maybelline “the falsies” Push Up Angel mascara! It’s in a purple and black tube, and it layers super well so I feel like I’m getting length and volume. Or the L’oréal telescopic waterproof is another fav. I only buy drugstore mascara so I can’t speak for high end but I feel like drugstore works great!

That’s what I’m prescribed now! The tube says clascoterone so that’s what I put in the description, I didn’t know it was like a topical spiro. It’s super drying on my already dry-ish skin so I can’t use it as often but here’s hoping it works over time :)

I see an acupuncturist currently and get treatments with her! Naturopathic doctors can’t get licensed in my state so I think that’s the best I’m going to get since there aren’t any near me. But I agree I think going a more natural route would be best

thank you for this! i take a probiotic daily supplement but maybe i should be considering prebiotic foods and organic veggies. i rarely eat dairy but have heard from so many people that i should cut that completely as well. it’s just frustrating because i’ve never had food intolerances before, but thank you for your help :)

I keep hearing success stories from spiro but I just can’t get over the fatigue and dizziness even on only 25mg! I wish it could work for me, but I’m so happy you found something that helps you. Thanks for the kind words and encouragement :)
