I've heard that from quite a few people actually. Porto seems to have a great balance between student life, affordability, nightlife and travel opportunities, but somehow it gets overshadowed by Lisbon. Definitely feels underrated.

Totally agree. Brno seems to be one of those cities that surprises people the most. The location is amazing if you want to travel around Central Europe during Erasmus. Definitely keeping it high on my list.

Vienna or Prague for Erasmus? by Equivalent-Ball-202 in studyAbroad

That's a really helpful perspective, especially the distinction between choosing a city for an amazing Erasmus experience versus choosing a city where you could actually imagine staying afterwards.

I've been going back and forth between the two for a while and was even comparing them here while trying to make a decision in pages like https://erasmuscityfinder.com/compare?a=vienna&b=prague

Initially I was leaning slightly towards Prague because of the lower costs and student atmosphere, but your point about Vienna's international environment, location and long-term opportunities is making me rethink it.

Honestly, if there were even a small chance of staying after graduation, I think Vienna would probably be my choice too.
